This happened at around 10:20 p.m. on q rather deserted road. (So much for night exploration. ) Immediately upon impact, I heard the sound of the air leaking out of the tyre and well, I had to ride a good 37 kilometers pretty carefully to get back home. Luckily, nothing happened to me and the impact didn't shake up the bike, so I was lucky not to have my riding gear tested.
The dent doesn't seem to be a major one. It looks rather small (to me atleast). There are no visible cracks in the wheel as of what I could make out in the low light on the roads. I shall click a picture in the morning tomorrow and post it here for better reference.
However, I'd like to know whether it is recommended to get a new wheel instead or get the existing wheel repaired?
What is the cost of a new front wheel? If I have to get the wheel changed, should I get it changed under insurance, or pay from my own pocket?
Sorry abt the unfortunate incident. You can replace it under insurance claim as It would dig a hole in your wallet for about ~8k. I had changed the rear rim in my cbr which costed approx ₹8600.

Here's the picture. Only the left side is dented, the right side is perfectly fine.

Dip it once. No need to screw it in.

I need to make a habit of checking oil level occasionally. Confused about the proper way to check dipstick. After initially removing and wiping it, do you screw it again all the way or just dip it once and check oil level?

The guys at the ASC where I go to fill my bike with the one that they use in Activa and other bikes which costs around 250-300rs.
Everytime after 1-1.5k kms my bike starts feeling rough and hence thougth to change the oil for good.

Also, I asked them if I could switch to the one that comes in black bottle and they blatantly refused stating that it is only for the 250R and also it would void my engine warranty if I change to any other than what they use. Is that true?

3k kms!? Mine starts to feel rough after only 1-1.5k kms! Please read my reply to bala's comment.
I am really confused at this point. :|
They are using honda mineral oil in your bike.(not honda throttle)
Tell him to use honda throttle or change ASC.

Just curious because i still using honda throttle engine oil.

Motul synthetic oils are of 10w40 grade. N honda recommended 10w30.

Honda throttle is not bad, it can easily last for around 3 to 3.5K kms. If you wish to extend the drain interval then shell advance ultra 10w 40 is the bestest oil you can get for CBRs and which will beat motul oils hands down.

Dig a bit deeper into both 150 and 250 ownership thread and you will see what shell.advance ultra is capable of.

    Cheers,
    Sanjay

Today, the ignition thingy came off when I tried turning the key. Took it to service centre and got it fixed. I'm starting to doubt the quality of this bike

And also how do I change the engine oil by myself? I am sorry but I am not a DIY guy, yet!
