I reckon it's a water pump seal failure. Usually oil or coolant leaks from this place if you have a water pump seal failure, which mixes with oil. Check your oil quality, and see if it's not frothy and foamy. If you observe the oil is frothy or foamy, we have water pump seal failure.Originally posted by wanderlust_che View Post

Honda CBR 150r engine oil leak.
From the last few days, engine oil is seeping from a hose on the right side of the engine. When I took the motorcycle to the service centre the technician told me that it's just normal and the seepage is due to overfilled oil. However, the oil is still coming out of the hose and the engine oil level dropped significantly. The oil comes only after riding more than 5-6 k.m. Please help me what might be wrong? Tank Pad suggestions
Hi
Can anyone suggest where I can get a good quality tank pad for the CBR 150R?
The bottom half of the tank needs some cover and I am not sure where to purchase a good quality one.
It gives a bad feeling to see scratches on the tank and I want to avoid further occurrences of these scratches.
If you feel I should be posting this question in a different manner, then please correct me. I could only find the "Reply to Thread" option to post my question on this forum.

You dont even need to leave the bike idle. You can use your bike normally. I would usually keep away from sudden acceleration and high rpm ride till the temperature bar rises to the normal operating temperature. After that you can do what you want. This is not related to the choke but just to make sure that after a cold start the engine oil reaches the hard to reach parts within the engine and also that the coolant rises to the optimum temp.
