Flushing old Engine oil in CBR150R
Hi Fellow Bikers,
I'm looking for a fellow CBR150R owner who know in and out about the bike and can solve my below doubt.
I want to flush out old Engine oil out of my bike and replace it with Shell Fully synthetic oil.
Is it okay to use engine flush liquid for CBR150R? I'm concerned because, there is no oil filter in CBR150R to change.
Please help me... !

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Camshaft worn out means it was not 7600 when u bought it .. he(previous owner) had done something with odometer ...Originally posted by joelgreen View PostThanks man, I love my baby blade. Still don't regret buying the Second Hand CBR instead of a brand new Trigger (was an option given by my dad; he bought me the bike, I'm just 18 by the way...
)
Now about the bike, I don't think the previous owner crashed the bike before, at least it was alright when I bought it, except that the rear foot peg holder is slightly bent which means the bike may have fallen on the left, but the fall causing this minor damage could have occurred while the bike was stationary as well. We also inquired with the ASC in that area and they gave us details that the bike has never been serviced there for anything relating to an accident. However, after we bought the bike and took it to the ASC, we realized that this guy had not been getting the bike serviced at the Honda ASC's. Instead he must have employed some local mechanic to service it!
But anyway, the bike doesn't show any signs of damage to the frame, so I dont think it's ever been through an accident!
About the parts replaced, I don't remember much, besides, the bills of all the repairs are kept in the bike storage!
But some things that were changed (some of which are yet to be complete since my bike is currently at the Honda service center) are :-
1) Clutchplates and Pressure Plates
2) Front R.H.S Indicator
3) Chain-Sprocket Kit
4) One of the Front Suspension Rods
5) Both Camshafts
6) 4 Valve Caps (the ones beneath the camshafts)
7) Seam
The rest I have forgotten. But 5, 6, and 7 are being changed now. Then the bike will be smooth and pickup will improve (or rather, be restored) as is claimed by the CBR service engineer at Vihaan Honda. Let's hope all goes well!

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Hello Friends,
i hope you guys all doing good. i was not active in this thread. for 3 years. Guys in this thread had helped me a lot during my purchase of CBR150 in 2013. now i have come up with one more help. my 2013 orange baby blade has done 30Kms. last 2 years my bike usage was very less. now again i started to use my bike more. i have to ride 60 kms every day 2 way to commute between home and office. now i will come to my question directly. initially i liked the orange color & bought. but now i started to feel orange color is too flashy & attracts many eyes towards me & bike. i dont want that. Thinking to change the color. dont know how. can you guys help me on how to change the color.
Option -1 : replace all the parts like fuel tank, side blades etc. in service center to new color. but cost will be high. i dont think i can afford
option - 2 make stickers change the color. but it will peel off or fade out.
option - 3 : exchange the bike with another person who likes orange color . i have maintained my bike very well. but others .. i dont know.
anyone has done it already pls suggest me a way.
can you guys tell me what could be the resale value for my bike. i had put in OLX. seems pretty bad. it is around 60k .
Thanks in advanceLast edited by Alwin Raj; 09-08-2017, 03:45 PM.

Engine oil strainer screen should be cleaned for every 12k kms interval. But i don't want to remove crankcase for just strainer screen cleaning. In future while replacing clutch plates i will clean it. I think clogged oil filter causes problems in oil pressure but strainer screen doesn't.

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
My CBR was drained in water in the recent raining in mumbai. It didn't start so i took it to the nearest service center. they told m charges of vehicle diagnostics around 2500 and and then will tell me which parts are gone and what to be changed. Parts and labor charges extra. Tachometer was showing display but after starting attempts it goes off. anyone knows about this diagnostic charges

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Less than 40 kgs on an Honda reminds me of DP26 [emoji111] [emoji111]Originally posted by abhishek.1 View PostIt might seem like an overkill, but to me it doesn't matter much since I mostly use the bike for long rides on highways. The bike is sluggish in the city but at highway it accelerates nicely at high RPMs - sweet DOHC engine. My weight is less than 40 kgs, so I already have an acceleration advantage over most other riders.
