Better not. Its the auto-choke. When a cold engine starts up it burns on a rich mixture. This results in around 2k rpm for some time. It will settle for normal after sometime. I guess it should not happen & your bike should start at normal rpm if the engine is at operating temperature.

    Honda CBR 150 R

Hello Guys! New to xBhp, I own a cbr 150r since 2012. I recently changed my bike tires to Michelin Pilot sporty Front100/80/17
Rear 140/70/17, after upsizing i feel the pickup is better and also the cornering angle has improved. However i think the rear shockups has been effected.. the tail lights rubber end up breaking sooner also recently the back fibre which holds the number plate broke and started hanging.. noticed the steel rod which was supporting the fibre was been rusted. I feel it broke because of the rust, however wanted to know if anyone faced such a problem before. Also if anyone from Mumbai knows the best place for servicing.
    Thanks in advance.

No noticeable increase in FE after spark plug change. But smoothness & responsiveness will surely increase.
Change air filter at 8-10k kms interval, you will get slightly better FE.

Then i concluded that it should be problem with ignition coil or spark plug.
Then i decided to change the spark plug by myself!!
Then i go for the hunt of ngk cr8e spark plug which is recommended by honda for cbr150. Believe me i checked every honda service center in pune but spark plug is not available. Then finally i got the spark plug from b.u.bhandari,bhavani peth service center.

After putting the new spark plug bike started in first push!!

    Note:
Recommended spark change interval for cbr150 is 8000 kms.
I pushed stock spark plug till 12500 kms and this happened.
Factory fitted spark plug- DENSO U24ESR-N
new spark plug- NGK CR8E (both are recommended)

Always keep stock of spare parts like cables, spark plugs, ignition coil, relays, fuses. Its difficult to get them when we are in need
Thanks for the suggestions bro.. Just wanted to know that whether spark plug is related to mileage anyhow???

Any tips for increasing the mileage.. R u saying it returned this in city roads??]

Hi guys. It's my first time here. I own a CBR 150 and its been my 5th year with it. I love the bike except the rear suspension feels insufficient. I loved the hero impulse ka suspension really soft. Will that fit my CBR 150. Or any other bike ka suspension....please give your views on this.

    Dent on alloy wheel

On my last drive, cbr 150r bumped onto a pothole in road and the edge of the both wheels got very slightly bent towards outside. Now the tubeless tyre is not able hold air pressure. Its leaking till pressure reaches 15PSI. I showed in local tyre shop but they say both alloy wheels need to change, no modification can be done.
Please suggest me the way to get removed the dent as i heard alloy can be repaired.
    Area:near indore, M.P.

I'm looking for a fellow CBR150R owner who know in and out about the bike and can solve my below doubt.

I want to flush out old Engine oil out of my bike and replace it with Shell Fully synthetic oil.
Is it okay to use engine flush liquid for CBR150R? I'm concerned because, there is no oil filter in CBR150R to change.

    Please help me... !
U can use petrol also to drain your old oil... close the drain nut pour petrol to the oil case .... give very small throttle about 2 mins around repeat 3 times ...... not. Not all the time once u change the brand/grade of oil.. hope it resolves.
