500-700 depends on svcOriginally posted by ankuu99 View PostThose were some really fast responses!! Thanks! I will get the m replaced, any idea how much does that cost?
And yeah, tyres do need to get them changed, have been told by various mechanics when getting punctures repaired. Too many cracks on sides now.
Thanks again!

Replace cone setOriginally posted by ankuu99 View PostHi Guys
Need a help regarding an issue with my bike. My handle doesn’t turn freely. I have found two angles at which it kind of gets “stuck” and I need to apply little more force to turn the handle on either side. This results in applying consistent pressure by hands in handling the bike.
Has anyone encountered such an issue? I got it checked by two mechanics, first one said that there is an issue related to the “cone” in handle and said it will cost a few thousands.
Second one simply loosened the handle a bit. Latter seemed to work for a few days but then the problem reoccurred.
Bike details:
Pulsar NS200 2014
24.5k covered
Stock tyres
Motilal Oil
Recently got the fork adjusted in servicing as it used to wobble on hard braking.
No other modification.
Please let me know if someone is aware of what exactly could be the issue.
Thanks
Abhishek

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I doubt the carb because as soon as I shift down to 5th gear it again builds up the lost speed and that sense of power loss is gone. has this been a carb issue i think this should have happened across the gears for that particular RPM.Originally posted by nnagap72 View PostLooks like the infamous carb diaphragm slider issue. The slider is getting stuck. This happens to almost all NS carbs during their lifetime. Get you mechanic to check the slide mechanism at higher RPMs.
Change the slide if it is faulty. It is recommended throughout the forum that incase such issue occurs it is better if we change the entire carb assembly instead of the slider as the issue may resurface again and again.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Disconnected the TPS meter was going haywire right from mild throttling..
With TPS connected occasional RPM spikes above 4~5k was noticed.
I hope TPS's potentiometer gets disconnected after 4k RPM
Will throw in a new one and will update....
Thanks bro...Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostDisconnect the TPS and see if the issue is present.
If not, you know where to look.

Disconnect the TPS and see if the issue is present.Originally posted by Manoj Sivaraman View PostHi everyone,
Recently I'm facing issue with my tachometer. Every time I open throttle, even slightly. The tachometer needle goes haywire. It just goes crazy touches redline and returns back maybe after a second showing the actual reading. Happens Everytime regardless of engine temperature.
Any clues and leads regarding this issue will be helpful....
Thanks in advance
