No idea about Bengaluru bro .. I am a Chennai guy..!!

@arjunb25: Well.. Everyone has their own views.. Many of my friends have ordered P220 even after TD of P200NS.. I guess bike is equally special and unique as the biker itself.. So.. Thank you for views.. but I beg to differ from your opinion of P220.. Handling if not anything P200NS beats P220 hands down.. For Street driving P200NS is just perfect.. Zipping through traffic..Top speed wise P220 owns it for it`s built.. No offense.. Cheers!

BTW how much kms have you clocked till now? if it's close to run ni then get service done, to get this rid off. But nothing will happen to engine, they are not that soft !! They are new and won't be harmed so soon. Get the sensor check!
i have clocked 320KMS till now..

Try the Probiking, those guys are a little better at this... I guess.. It is not exactly change oil is it.. I mean.. add oil should be the solution, if the oil is low; or maybe you should get the console checked if the indicator is on even when oil level is normal.

sorry.. SVC probiking didn`t see that...are you able to see the oil level ??.. Is it atleast on the minimum mark??.. Else riding wouldn`t be a safe option.. @OtherNSians.. one can buy DTSi oil and try adding.. can he do the same here..??.. I mean.. I remember a friend of mine doing the same for his P180.. no issues were faced by him..!!

when the bike is vertical position and i can see the oil level at minimum..
is the DTSi oil synthetic or mineral oil.
              ??
if i change the engine oil will it void warranty??

I think adding oil should be the solution.. and try sticking to DTSi oil for now.. after running in period you can go for Motul 3000 or so.. and I don`t think it will void the warranty.. but mineral oil after running in is a wise option.. I guess..!!

Did you point out to the service guys that oil level is at minimum.. I mean how can they say it is ok?!?!

now I am confused.. Mineral oil is DTSi right.. Motul 3000 is Synthetic na.. so.. DTSi during running in.. and Motul 3000 after running in.. this is what I wanted to say..!!

I'm one of few who is upgrading from a 220 to 200NS. But it's more or less a personal choice. I miss the super headlights of the 220, but then a bike is not only about top speed. As a complete bike, 200NS is way ahead of 220 and should be consider as an upgrade, especially if you put these bikes in the "commuter" category.

Regarding the break in / Run in, what do u suggest? MotoMan or the normal way as suggested by Bajaj. Has anyone tried the MotoMan way on a NS?
I generally follow an hybrid of Motoman method, and the same i'm going to follow with my 200NS as well.

Dtsi oil is "supposed" to be synthetic, but don't count much on that. You can change the oil as many time as u want, without worrying about warranty.

In my oppinion just stick what Dtsi oild till 2K kms, and then move to Motul 7100 FS. (During running in Mineral Oil is preferred, however even cars today come with synthetic oil from factories these days)

                            • Getting P200ns on monday

going to get my Ikran on monday, tomorrow is the official launch in Hyderabad but as red and yellow(choice 1 and 2) are already booked, I would be getting it on monday

Finally the wait is coming to an end.

I have transferred my booking in vinayaka bajaj to my friend as he would take it on a later date and getting it from Deccan bajaj , seriously deccan bajaj is awe some .

If it is just about changing Oil, then one can do it any where. It wont void the warranty.
And as far as I know, DTSi oil is Semi-Synthetic one.

My opinion - If there is Oil, and the engine is Noisy, then ride less till you do the Servicing(on Sat right??)
and clear out the whole Issue on the servicing day.
