P220 Vs P200NSOriginally posted by Jusanta View PostI'd like to read more opinions p220 owners who have led the p200ns, I see that some consider it would not be an upgrade from 220 to 200 in terms of power and performance.
My (an ex-owner of a P220 DTS-Fi) 2 cents:
>> The P200NS is faster and quicker than the P220F and would leave it far behind in a straightline drag
>> The P200NS is Faster.. just that one won't feel it.. till he realizes that the P220 has been left far behind.
>> In corners one will be scared to death on the P220 at the kind of speeds the P200NS will be able to corner efforlessly
>> The P220 betters the P200NS in high speed (130 + kmph) Stability (straight line) and the headlamp intensity (that's all)

mmm Some people say it is an upgrade from 220 to 200ns, others say yes, and I think the decision is personal and would need a TD to make up my mind, I believe in technology and design if it would be a good upgrade, but my question is in itself ACHIEVEMENT, acceleration, speed ..... expect good play comes to south america and take a walk, if I do have to sell my p220SF 2011.

Super sexy.
OT - you being an EX 220 owner, r you going for the NS as well??
Actually I wanted to updrage to around 40-50 Ps.. but as my budget right now is limited, the 23.5 Ps of the P200NS + the awesome chassis is good enough to keep me entertained.
So Yes, I will be getting the 200NS.
Sexy photo of the NS right..??

BTW, your thirst of 50PS might be quenched by Bajaj itself within a year or two. Till then enjoy the entertainment of the NS

Guys,
Regarding the break in / Run in, what do u suggest? MotoMan or the normal way as suggested by Bajaj. Has anyone tried the MotoMan way on a NS?Past : Pulsar 220 DTSi (Pune)
Current : Kawasaki Bajaj Caliber 115 (B'lore)
Future : Bajaj Pulsar 200NS (B'lore)

having fiber parts is an advantage as no panel will cost u more than 500bucks.. no need to claim insurance at all .. cheap to replace ..Originally posted by arjunb25 View Posttoday I took the test ride of 200 ns. If u believe me try both the vehicles then decide which one 2 go for. Since I am already riding a 220 therefore the big difference was
PULSAR 220 = man
PULSAR 200 ns= bacha
No hard feelings there friends. 200 ns was smooth no doubt about that but it was so light in weight I was like feeling that I am riding a girls bike.
The tyres skid big time. Since the bike was brand new the guy took out from the showroom and the meter cable was out too so could not see the speed but the rpm was running well I must say there are a lot of vibrations man after certain rpm what have the bajaj guys have made a machine with so much of noise. And specially it has got all fiber boss Agar kuch ho jata hain to insurance company will only bare 50%.
The starting was interesting the sound oh god Ktm sounds better.
Guys before going please please take a td of both 220 and 200 ns.
For all who r or still going to buy it think before u decide. Try both the bike friends. I mean it.
obviously ktm will sound better .. ktm is made for people who just wanna have fun with every ride ,, whereas ns is made to be sort of an allrounder with the compromise of the FUN factor... try some other TD bike if u felt vibrations .. i think some ns have come out of the factory with improperly fitted plastic panels...
a mix of both ..Originally posted by Cali115 View PostGuys,

Low engine oil again
Hi guys from yesterday onwards the low engine oil indicator in the console has stated blinking in my bike..
i had gone to SVC yesterday and the engineer had told that there is oil in in and the noise coming from the engine will be gone after the first service.
What shall i do??
please advice..
i worried that running the engine in low oil has damaged the engine.

Dude even I am a fan of 220 but I think you have got it completely wrong here .The 200 NS excells in most of the areas if not all when compared to the 220 .sigpic < --BENGALURU-- >

Yes you can ride it with no issues!! Till Tip toe stance would be there, but in riding no problem!!Originally posted by evilhunt View PostI am 5'5 feet ( more than 5'5, less than 5'6
), will i be able to ride it.... i don't mind not being comfortable with the height
nothing will happen to your bike! as mech said that there is oil in the engine, so what worry?? You should be more concern about why is it blinking when oil is present at adequate level??Originally posted by nisanth.sojan View PostHi guys from yesterday onwards the low engine oil indicator in the console has stated blinking in my bike..

BTW how much kms have you clocked till now? if it's close to run ni then get service done, to get this rid off. But nothing will happen to engine, they are not that soft !! They are new and won't be harmed so soon. Get the sensor check!Last edited by Guest; 07-25-2012, 11:25 AM.

Bro, you just tested the P200NS for a few kms and concluded this? Did you try to lean at a corner during the TD? or zip through the city traffic on the P200NS? If you have tried both you would have understood a few capabilities of the new P200NS over the P220.Originally posted by arjunb25 View Posttoday I took the test ride of 200 ns. Both theoretically and practically P200NS is way better than the current P220 in all terms
