No, you dont have to pay road tax as a visitor. You have to pay road tax when you settle down in some city (in a new state). In any case, payment of the road tax needs NOC from your previous RTO. You will naturally apply for and get this NOC only when you are quitting that place. Moreover, for paying up road tax etc, you have to provide your details, like address (in the new place) etc.

Hence if you are going for a trip, crossing states, then you dont have to pay anything, except the toll taxes wherever applicable.

An NOC is *not* required to Life time road tax.

Its only needed at the time of re-registering the vehicle in another state!

Anyone can move to a new state and pay the LTT and ride the vehicle without NOC and re-registration.

@govind.one: bro fill anything u feel like... It really doesn't make much difference practically... And dont pamper the bike in run in by keeping it below 50kmph... Just ride it casually as you would do post run in but dont rip it hard... Babying a bike is worse than riding it fast... The more you try to pamper it, more you'll find trouble... IMO 2k run-in period is just crap...its just bajaj trying to be on the safe side... Most of the harm is done when one starts to thrash his bike suddenly just after run-in... Everything should be done in a gradual manner... Exploit the full rpm zone in run in but do it in a slow way...slowly take it to 8-8.5k rpm an then slowly let it come down... Dont rip it
              Very very nicely put..
Pampered run-in will surely do more bad than good.

And the thing that u said abt Immediate Post-run in part, must also be kept in mind.
Most of the knowledgeable rider makes this silly mistake!!

Chintan bro, I saw your bikes number

How much did you pay for this ?

Here its KL 40 G 4xxx range and 4444 is open but the booking amount for that number is 50k

1 lakh for bike and 50k for number

@sad_general : Different states have different rates.

@Shibadip : I told u first only that it would be on/before August 15. BTW MG is coming to Kolkatta so you guys will have P200NS in Kolkatta before August 15

Extremes are always harmful...rightly mentioned by Rahul.
All work and no play makes the pulsar a dull boy

It is not metal. It's sort of plastic.

Any first time owner's facing this, same as Chintan?
