I am the newest member of this group, I have booked Pulsar 200NS(Yellow) on Saturday will be getting the delivery tomorrow(can't wait).
I have read a lot for the last 2 months and finally went for it. I have so much to learn as I am new to biking, I don't know if its the right thing to buy such a powerfull bike as my first
one

Whats the color of the coolant residue when leaked?

Today while riding to the office, somebody on the way pointed out that something is leaking. When i checked (still riding) , the coolant was like boiling and leaking . By the time i could get out of the traffic and inspect, it had stopped, and there was some sort off brownish residue left on the pipes and all. This is the first time i have seen coolant leakage in 8.5k kms ownership exp , though the coolant level has always been just half-an inch below the max level all this while. Neither did I do any hard ripping today. Wondering as to why this happened today.

Guys best helmet sub 4k range with best ventilation??

P.s. I have a LS2 Combat, it makes me sweat like hell, almost unbearable in the summers now :|

I had purchased the same day of my first test drive!
No booking or waiting at all ....
Here, in Kerala, we have to take to RTO for FC & registrations ourselves

I had chosen my future bike by only 1KM test driving

Story:
I had gone to KVR Bajaj, Malappuram for to purchase P180 (there is no booking needed for any Bajaj bikes ...)
I had need a commuter bike which is stable @ 70-80 KM/hr
So I was planned to take P180
I had selected one bike & they take it for washing
meanwhile I saw P200NS is standing nearby me
& I told the executive (my friend) " who the F*** will purchase this ugly bike
Actually he was unaware about 200NS's capabilities
He said "brother Santhosh, will you take a test ride on this?"
I agreed. because I had a lot of time before delivery of my Pulsar 180.
He gives me a new bike to test
I asked for a demo bike. no hope. there is no demo bike at all
& I had made a 1KM test drive with him.
During that period, I had ride through every possible riding limits.
I had ride through edges of road, through bushes, non-paved area...etc
Even a single time I hadn't loose my confidence (even after a leaned U-Turn through gravel)
Then the miracle happened. After my test ride I had told him that "just cancel my P180 & please bill this 200NS"

It was about 2 months ago. now I am on about 4K on odo in my NS

I had a lot of problems with my NS.
They replaced front shock-up and carburetor of mine.
Still wobbling (or sliding back or front wheel) is persists. by going through corners, high speeds and smooth & slippery surfaces.
I don't know whether it is due to faulty fork's torque or swing arm bushes or stock tires.
I can't be said, its a smooth bike. because I am coming from Unicorn

on a bike !!!! death due to explosion !!!! I can't even imagine that .........

Am 4k on ODO it decreasing very slow ..? Is it problem ?

always check coolant level when bike is cold and is parked overnight...how much ur level...check the manual...4k kms is too early to change...if u find drastic decrease u can top up..
ay be some coolant boiled off or spilled and leaked...happens and not a problem

shell oils and cheaper than motul...and some claim better...u can try both and reach to a conclusion on ur own..however at 4k kms on odo...it is a waste of money to use FS oil..even oil manufacturers say normal daily riding or touring doesnt require use of costly FS oils...SS is fine..if u are abusing ur bike and redlining and ripping crazy...then go for FS at such an early stage
