Rubber gorments are essentially rubber bushes to absorb the vibrations that are caused. They are available at the svc and will fit them for you if you insist.

The tappets if needing adjustment will make a rythamic sound like a sewing machine. Which will be clear in a hotter engine.

      Cheers

Bro, I remember you once telling us that your experience with stock Euro tyres has been very good. That they never let you down etc .. what changed your mind ? Not happy with their performance anymore ?

              This is Ashok from Chennai.
I've bought my Bumble bee in Sept. 12. I've completed my running in time without any problem.
I've lubed the chain for every 500Km with OKS spray(recommended by BAJAJ An Kluber product).

After completing my running in time (2000Km) I'm facing a problem in my monster.

I observe some squeaking noise from my rear wheel when I drive at low speed like 20Kmph.
I observe this issue even when I just push from rear wheel.
i asked to clear this issue at my second service and the service guys lubed the rear disk with a spray and cleaned my disc calipers and the noise went.
After 2 days it came back.

I've drove up to 136kmph with this issue.
Guys have you faced this kind of issue and if you have any idea to clear this issue kindly suggest me...

                Hello Sir,
Nothing like that... I have clocked around 18k with them and I feel its time to replace them. So looking for options. Also the rear tyre had 4 puntures. So better to go in for a new pair of tyres before the riding season begins.

                • Not exactly functional, but for aesthetic appeal, I've fitted a pair of knuckle guards on my NS. Pics coming soon.

What kind of tire you want?? On-rode/off-road?? Soft compound/hard coumpound?? Stock size or bigger one??

First of all you need to point out your exact requirements..then it would be easy to recommend something...

I also had a thought of changing rear tires..I shortelisted MRF/Pirelli/Dunlop/Michelin in 130/70. And MRF Revz 150/60 (duke stock) is also an option.

BTW could you please post some pics of your tires?? Would be interesting yo see their condition. I think Eurogrip can last well past 18k. Of coarse depends on riding.

Also I am just curious..4 punctures - Is that bad enough?? I mean I don't really know about it..So asking..Because I have heard those soft compound tires get many many of punctures sometimes. How many punctures should be considered as threshold??

PS: I already have got 2 punctures in the rear tire of my NS... I am on 8.3k km on ODO..

One issue I am facing with Chain. THe chain is too noisy. The SVC mechanic screwed up its setting during second service when he removed it for cleaning I guess. Well, I am not sure whether is too tight or too lose which is causing it to make noise. But when I checked its slackness, its too tight at some places (like 5mm slackness) and too slack at some places (like 15-20mm slackness). I know the chain is not evenly slack but Isn't this difference too much?? And i dont really understand why this difference is there at first place...

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

Not a issue at all ,the noise is due to dirt stuck in your read brake pad ,give it a thorough wash and it should go away .

                            • Guys , how reliable is bajaj ??

I own 200ns but people around here are constantly bothering me by saying that bajaj is not that reliable as HH , Honda etc ...
coz of this i now my dad has been raising questions on realiablity of the bike

as far as now the bike has not given me a bad bump !! (except for once i ran out of fuel and fuel gauge was showin 4 bars on it still )

and latest issue i am facing is the side stand ... the bike leans more than before on stand !! i guess some one might have been sitting on it for a longer a time while the bike was parked in my college parking !!

and any suggestion for a louder horn ?? i dont those big horns that most of the people fit on the knee guards.. a simple single horn would also do ( basically anything that has a lil heavier sound than the stock horn )

i have seen alot of 200ns on road in nashik... by chance anyone here on this forum ??

Or you could check the wheel alignment .... i too faced similar problem ... went to local mechanic ... he removed the wheel and assembled back again properly ... this did the trick for me !!
