I got it from JC Road Bangalore, isn't a branded one took only for expriment purpose but now i can go with brand because i am completely satisfied. Just one issue that i am facing thanks to bajaj for their Battery Saving Technology!Originally posted by spknair View Post

Well, there's a reason bajaj went with the battery saver feature. The battery is a VRLA one which can be very difficult to source in many parts of the country,so if it discharges on a desolate road somewhere, you're going to be in quite a tight spot.Originally posted by gotnofuture View PostI got it from JC Road Bangalore, isn't a branded one took only for expriment purpose but now i can go with brand because i am completely satisfied. High beam is working perfectly. No low battery indication. The day i got it installed both H/L beam was working perfectly but couldn't test it more because of day time. Electrician did not connect the positive wire directly from the battery terminal, he cut some wire inside the visor itself i think this might be the issue
The low beam swith is behaving same as old pulsar 200cc magnetic horn switch which cut off automatically when you replace stock horns with high power horns. Please help. How about this issue? Riding in low gears in traffic no matter what, does affect a bike's FE. It's due to the inconstant fuel delivery required by the engine at different gears, at start and stop traffic.Originally posted by sunilyo View PostWont shifting at 6k give a reduced mileage? just thinking in terms of the ideal speed-to-gear ratio. I have kept my setting on the richer side and shift between 4 to 5k and get a mileage of around 35k. i am happy with it and dont want to fiddle with the AFR for the next couple of thousand kms.
Though i ride it to my office and back and most of the time am able to keep it at a rev range of around 5-6k. the route is a lil congested 40% of the route i ride on 2nd - 3rd gear only. So may be this could also be the reason for my low mileage.

I think the wiring isn't perfect. Because a perfectly working highbeam and then low beam going off after a few seconds definitely means it's either a bulb issue or wiring issue. Postive wires don't need to be directly connected from battery if you did so you'd need another switch, so people always cut the wires that run from the headlight as it's directly from battery, regulated and works directly though your switch.Originally posted by gotnofuture View PostHow about this issue? Check the assembly if it's done properly or if the bulb is at fault.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Hahaha, perhaps he did have some points, but it's his attitude that's what's messed it up so so badly. Peace out! lol

Pretty sure it's not the battery at fault. Again, there's a reason why bajaj has advised not to meddle with the electronics of the bike. Cutting the stock headlight wires and re routing through other means (if done incorrectly) can short out the entire circuit.Originally posted by gotnofuture View PostHow about this issue? UPDATE- Issue is fixed! Culprit was faulty wiring. HID low beam throw matches 98% compare to Halogen. Worth it! No battery issues further.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostDid you check the wiring? I think the wiring isn't perfect. That's great. Cutting wires isn't a bad idea, but screwing up with the wiring, especially as the circuits getting intelligent day by day, a smalls screw up somewhere is gonna negatively affect the bike.Originally posted by gotnofuture View PostUPDATE- Issue is fixed! Glad to to be of help.
