Here, no one will agree about your opinion, except me.
I had stated earlier that NS's suspension is the toughest in its or any commuter or low end sports bikes (I don't know about Duke's)
No one had agreed with me. Some one said it is "soft" !!!!!
But it can control over potholes effortlessly. Do not hold the handle. Just guide the handle bar. NS has an awesome stability between pulsars, may be due to mono suspension.

Warning light doesn't glowing ??? no bars @ fuel guage . maybe limited to high rpm warning
In my opinion its a total waste indicator

About number plate. Our NS's plate also @ top. You can see the fittings under front fairing. But Bajaj dealers doesn't have such plate or fittings. Here many of owners had made custom clamps to fit plate at top of fairing. Anyway I don't like it.
I wish if I am the only rider in roads !!!!!
So I can red line my bike all the time

it is not about control over potholes, my point was comfort.

I was riding my bike today and suddenly I couldn't feel the gear shifter. I stopped to see this

My bike is stuck in first gear now, and I can't ride it home, so I have left it at office. Plan to ride somehow to a nearby service centre to get it fixed tomorrow.

Anyone else seen this happen?

On another note, I was really lucky this happened today. I rode my NS for 800 kms last weekend in rain, ghats, pathetic roads, highways with no issues at all.

itsnotv: sad to hear that bro, but my mechanic also said that NS parts are prone to breaking so take extra care specially while parking in crowded places. try to get it in warranty.one more weird thing is today morning there was heavy rain, and when i reached office i noticed that not only my raincoat but my helmet was also covered with muddy splashes from rear tyre, i was really surprised since my bike has the rear mudguard.

Today evening I checked and found that Radiator Fan is not working. Asked to Showroom guy. He told me they will check it during 1st Service. Though any idea? Is BAJAJ doing this for some reason?? Keeping Cooling Fan off mode does help anything regarding engine power and smoothness?? As I am new to this thread sorry for some grammatical mistakes as well as some knowledge about Bike.
Radiator fan is supposed to start automatically depending upon the temperature the of the fluid inside the radiator and the engine. The same as it does in most cars. It isn't supposed to run at all times, but sometimes it does depending on the above reasons.

Had a bad morning today. Like always got ready for office took the cover off my bike and a uncle standing nearby said " what's that hanging ? " To my horror it was the rear brake pedal assembly that was broken. The place where i park my bike is a narrow lane. Trucks haves to just squeeze in to get thru. My friends told me that a truck did pass thru ystrdy evening.

I was aware that these parts of our 200 ns are more fragile than they should be, but this is too much. There are no signs of any scratches in any part of the body just this.

Or somebody hit it hard with something out of spite. The boys in my area are notorious and are well into bikes and stuff. Infact , they are the ones who had initially told me not to go for a 200 ns for this same reason. I have also seen lots of ns in the svc for the very same part replacement

I some how managed to get to my office slowly using just the front brake. Will get it replaced today evening.

Does any body know how much does this part and the corresponding services charges are ?

Luckily i didnt lose control of my bike & then there was obvious sweet words between us. Then I started noting down his car no. & he lost interest in me and went off. Even I didnt argue as I didn't see any damage from first look. But as soon as he left & resumed my travel, I realised something was wrong with rear bake. Front Aluminium foot rest was cracked Went to close by service center usig gmaps. They told piece costs Rs 791 or so but they don't have it. I was cursing myself for letting that driver go ealiy only if I had seen the damage properly. None the less my day was about to get worse as yesterday was a horrible night for all commuters as there was heavy heavy rain with water all over the place. Me & my bike had first swim together I was suggested by the service center to not to use rear brake as the holder might completely come off. So riding 20kms without rear brake with water upto knee level :/ horrible just horrible
Any way today got it repaied from Khivraj Kasturba Road as no one else had that spare part. Total Cost Rs 700/- which included spare part(391), labor(153), Rubber grommets(yes finally got them 71) & another part for rear brake. Attaching the pic enjoy for odd reason i dont have the pic when the part completely came off yesterday late night. Took the pic before giving it for service.

@all, most bikes components like foot rest holders and additional "beauty enhancers" are mostly made of cast alloy, which means they are one piece moulded from a mould and are high precision components. A little tap at the wrong place will crack them like egg, be it aluminum alloys which are far worse than ABS themselves. So it's not uncommon to see these "breakage" occur in most bikes.

But that being said, parts as vulnerable as these can be forged to resist the break up and end up denting the pockets of the owner. Again nothing much can be done, unless Bajaj really is keen on improving the same.

The same reason Bajaj scrwed up the P220 with the so called speed lines, personally it was a like a mixed bird poop lined itself along the bike due to the forward motion, and Bajaj duped it as speed lines, but that's just me.

Yellow is still a stunner in the P200NS. Very pleasant to look at.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

THE END

oO, actually I loved the speedlines midnight blue version. the simple black was and still is the best color to go with for p220. lol@bird poop xD. but yea, these graphics on 200NS don't look good at all, if they come to india they're only going to be extra colors options while the original 4 colors will still be in production i think,
