Check the coolant level is above the min mark, make sure there are no scratches or dents even on the underside of the bike above the rear wheel, ensure that the digital console (speedo, odo, tripmeter, tachometer, clock, etc.) are working and lastly take it for a decent ride from the showroom. Also get a decent amount of fuel put in the bike so it stays out of reserve. If you feel anything is irregular during the ride take it back immediately and get it looked into! The first long ride you take will tell you loads about the bike.

            Buddy my condolences with you,....
You cannot determine why, when, where stupidity of people may rise, and I'm talking about illiterate as well as highly educated people too..
What to tell you,I caught a 50 year old man wearing nice clothes and gold chain with rings too while he was trying to cut off my front brake wire with a cutter, thanks to god as I'm ultra ultra possessive about my bike( whenever I go outside,I never park it in places I cannot check upon and I usually check upon my bike every 30 min no matter I'm in a class or at a hospital,as I live in delhi) I reached to scene and saved my bike from being raped, but the bastard had made a little cut on wire,so scolded him badly, made a scene ( didn't got physical as I cannot disrespect that badly) and then settled the scene with 1500 bucks. .

            BIKING-its all in..,

I guess the sporty looks and naked styling is a curse for a bike like NS around splendors and discovers etc. It provokes jealously of people and loudly tells them that you can't have me bytch. .

                • [Bajaj ] Pulsar 200NS Questions plz

                  Hi there ....
I got my Pulsar 200 NS about a month ago
My current mileage stands at about 530 Kms
I read in the manual that one should not cross the speed-limit (48 mphs) for the first 2000 Kms ..

                  Now,
There were days when i pushed the bike beyond 70 mph because i had to (I Commute to work on it)

Today ...i changed the Engine Oil ...
Is it okay to push the bike now ? ... because 48 mph is TOO Darn slow and the 2000 Km mark is TOO far to reach soon.

                  thnx

Guys at the outset I would say that seven days is ridiculous. Toy can do a complete engine rebuild and more. However we also need to be prepared to not rush the mechanics to ensure that he does a thorough job. This patience has always worked to my advantage

I'm also going to try it out in my next service in first week of nov.
Lets see if it is really that good or a paid promotion.

That's why I always stand next to my bike while servicing and watch ultra closely each and every movement of mechanic, also I've serviced my bike(1st) myself with mechanic in the svc .Will do the same in upcoming second service

Guys a noob question, which is the perfect rpm to shift up while normally riding..? I've shifted between 2.8 to max 3.4 rpm while riding till now,and I've never faced any vibes, but mileage nowadays is 30... what to do...
Also shifting up while riding without using clutch isn't bad huh..? Or will it damage my bike...?
