Yes sort of. The tyre got severely damaged by something on the road, which left a long cut on the tyre and then pierced through the tyre from the side, which led to imbalance and I went through one of the regular govt. sponsored potholes, which eventually led to a bent rim, and then was hit by an auto rickshaw from the back, so the tail lamp too was damaged.

avengers handlebar connecting rod +on these holes on our ns+a fz handlebar maybe......how would that be..a making of perfect streetbike...
guys say the possibility of this process...doubts on hole dia...thread length(as there is a need of thick washers on both ends),,wire length and clutch cable angle..

as of stock tyres- i would say 200% to change it if u have money..,as panic or sudden breaking is the same for everyone apart from their riding styles ..me 9000km still in stock..,,met with a lot of situation when they just let go..,, if u use ur bike in sandy and muddy roads pls just change, it cant just grip on braking @25kmph...

Bro, i got this checked many times, and this is from the first accident. All the times i fall on to left side only.

That is what i am thinking from the first day i read that changing brake lines to steel braided leads to less skidding and also i had practiced so may times and habitual of using front brakes in normal speed and both in higher speeds without even thinking once.

Indians only care about rear wheel grip and have a tendency to use rear brakes no matter what. They forget that the front tyre works much harder and gets more than 95% of the load and braking job done in braking and if your front locks up you are gone...*boom* so make sure you have a better front tyre if you are experiencing falls due to braking... you sometimes dont even need to touch the rear. And btw i am also using 220 lines at front and dont bother to change the rear... coz i am good even with no rear brakes...dont need them.

Thanks Rahul for the opinion, as far as braking efficiency is considered, as i told above, i use front brakes more and both brakes usually in high speeds, rarely once in blue moon i use only rear for braking. I am running stock tyre on front and was planing to change to front stock tyre of Duke 200. Any Suggestion on this.

How about MRF Revz FC (110/70 R 17 TL) for the front and Revz C (150/60 R 17 TL) for rear on the NS ?

great stuff man, i always had faith in stock tyres

no really. what set of tyres is ur friend using there ?

Also guys do you think the recently released spy images of a Bajaj bike which appears identical to 200NS is an updated version of the current. May be with a FI and a better set of stock tyres and some graphics. It absolutely cannot be a 180NS that's for sure. What's weird is that they still haven't started road testing their next faired Pulsar.

Yesterday I did a 50 km ride in city itself. Took the rpm to 6k rpm twice for few seconds. Odo is reading close to 400 kms. Bike was sounding and feeling rough after riding for 30 mins. I also felt footpeg vibrations. My hands were starting to get a bit numb.
Also I am getting some weird sound (difficult to explain. Some sort of khad khad, frequency increases with increasing rpm ) from front, but tends to fade away when clucth lever is slightly pressed. Have anyone experienced these issues.

The oil leak issue has been resolved by ASC. They rplaced the o-ring seal of oil filter and applied anabond gasket maker. Also engine oil was topped up. Initially the mechanic was pouring same oil which was drained out while replacing the seal, which had some fine sands . But when I objected he fetched from some where else. ( can we identify by just seeing that whether the oil is fresh/new or not, i really dont feel like trusting these careless people).

After the job the oil seems to be a bit above the maximum level. Can it harm the engine?

Below 1000 kms revving hard is a sin. The khat khat sound either comes from chain or fork. Get it checked. Your hand gets numb maybe cause of hard clutch lever or you holding the handle too tight.
Y did he drain oil if he was to top up? Maybe because of oil seal. Once oil is drained he should only put fresh oil or put back same drained oil using filter. If oil is more that's OK coz it keeps moving around in engine. Often bikes pour away extra oil by itself when kept on side stands.

that's not his bike, it's the indonesian version of 200NS. I'm beginning to like the graphics work done on these models. all other modification done in the image looks awkward.

Doesn't look like any mod has been done to the frame, or the Swing arm or the rim. So, the question, what would be effects of this rubber combination (effectively D200's rubber) on the NS. I know this might have been answered a zillion pages back, but wanted some fresh thoughts.
