I got my Pulsar 200NS on this Dusherra. From day 1, I was facing the problem of air leakage from the rear tyre. In 2 to 3 days the tyre goes full flat...
I got it checked with puncture walas but nothing was found. During the first service I mentioned that but they too checked the valve and other things but nothing was found.
Today I took it to a old known puncture wala at a petrol pump near to me. He checked it thoroughly and found a cut on the tyre just near to the wheel. He suggested to take it to Bajaj and ask them to either replce the tyre or to replace the byk...

plz suggest what best can be done in this case. I tried to google Eurogrip dealers but couldnt find even a single. Suggest that one also.
Is such a cut valid for replacement under warranty?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Bro no warranty. This is what going to happen. They will say you have driven rash on improper stony road. That is when this happened. Now it is left to you how u gonna convince them to get a replacement. Tell them its been this way since delivery every two days air goes off. Etc:thumbup:Originally posted by yogesh_hooda View PostYou dont need to go to SVC. you can do it by yourself

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Did a cold start in the morning and found that idle rpm is 1.5k but after riding the bike for 1 km the idle rpm again jumped to 2k and i am sure when i will ride more it will gain jump to 3k as happened yesterday. What could be the issue ?
Should i adjust the rpm when engine is hot ?Last edited by Newrider88; 11-04-2013, 11:48 AM.I am loving my NS

Check if the choke is on by chance. This may be a cause.Originally posted by Newrider88 View PostDid a cold start in the morning and found that idle rpm is 1.5k but after riding the bike for 1 km the idle rpm again jumped to 2k and i am sure when i will ride more it will gain jump to 3k as happened yesterday. Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Is your clutch hard to pull?. Then its better to take it to service centre as this could be a problem with clutch so after riding rpm raises n all.Originally posted by Newrider88 View PostAlready checked, choke is increasing the rpm to 4-5k for both hot and cold conditions.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Check your coolant levels and if the coolant is leaking or not, I had the same issue where the rpm constantly increased even when the bike was on a signal. There was a coolant leak which didn't cool the engine properly and cause the rpm to increase, I just tightened all the caps on the coolant and the problem was solved.Originally posted by Newrider88 View PostDid a cold start in the morning and found that idle rpm is 1.5k but after riding the bike for 1 km the idle rpm again jumped to 2k and i am sure when i will ride more it will gain jump to 3k as happened yesterday. Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Checked the coolent level, it is in the middle of max and min mark and there is no leakage.Originally posted by Horror View PostCheck your coolant levels and if the coolant is leaking or not, I had the same issue where the rpm constantly increased even when the bike was on a signal. Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Or it could simply be a case of accelerator wire getting stuck, happens some time, i had observed this in my unicorn, never in my 200NS.Originally posted by Newrider88 View PostChecked the coolent level, it is in the middle of max and min mark and there is no leakage.

Its the idle screw issue...
Ride your bike for 2~3km
Park it and adjust the screw real slow to clock wise, you can find the RPM increasing..
Adjust it real slow and set it to idle at 4k...
Now Turn it Anti Clock wise real slow and keep it at 1.5k
Now there wont be any kinda RPM fluctuation in your Bike....
This happened to me alot..
SVC ppl were not able to figure it out, I did it by myself and fixed it... :P
