AutoKart - Philips Extreme X-treme Vision Car Headlight Bulbs Bulb H4 60/55W - Buy Car Exterior Accessories | Snapdeal.com
I don't use it but I kind of wanna try it. Tell me how easy or difficult it is to install this plug and play Bulb ? Can do it myself right ? and do Delhi Cops create any trouble at checkposts etc for having a white light of Diamong vision & Crystal vision ? I see in a youtube video that these Philips HID replacement bulbs are 100% street legal in US... but that doesn't apply in India right ? Extreme vision is yellow btw and it surely won't cause any trouble, though I doubt if it overall performs any better than the stock bulb of NS. I just don't wanna be stopped in Delhi mid night and be inquired for having white light bulb

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
The noise coming from the rear disk brake has always been an extremely common problem with this bike, either get used to the noise or ask the service centre guys to get the disk changed. They will sand paper your pads if you tell them the problem which solves the problem for a few days and then the noise will come back. Don't worry the noise will go away over time.I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
noise is not noticeable at higher speed only at speed below 10-5 kmph ...and the noise is not that loudOriginally posted by broken87 View Postno not increase the idle rpm, 1.5k is what it is and should be. can't say about noise from the disk brakes.is it coming from both front and rear ? too noisy ? and not noticeable but present in higher speeds as well right. ride for 2-3 kms without applying the brakes and then stop and check your disk calipers. if they're hot for no reason then u gotta find help at svc.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
oh cool then. I'll probably get one soon, will also get white LED parking lamps.. just for an overall change. Though I like the all yellow looking front of NS. really suits it well.
can't say. Yes I have seen several users reporting same issue in this thread. didn't pay much attention to the fixes. I myself had a problem with rear disk caliper making noise and infact affecting the free movement of rear wheel. But that was because I had a bad accident on my bike that even broke the rear wheel rim. So I always thought it was because of the impact during accident that the rear Disk Caliper is bugged. With time the problem has vanished on it's own, wheel movement is 100% Ok and absolutely no problems in braking.Originally posted by pratikthereddevil View Postnoise is not noticeable at higher speed only at speed below 10-5 kmph ...and the noise is not that loud
If you feel like it, do one thing.. put your bike on center stand (get it installed if u don't have it, comes in handy).. rotate the rear wheel and observe what's making the noise. If the Caliper is rubbing against something and affecting free movement of the wheel, as if it's bent. May be you can get it replaced under warranty ? You will have to fight for it. The thing is your bike is brand new and it's gonna hurt to see it being worked upon already for fixing this brake issue. they will take the entire caliper out and do this and that.. it's time consuming plus doesn't gurantee a solution. May be you should tolerate this noise, it may go away.Last edited by broken87; 10-29-2013, 12:39 AM.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Hi Guys....just wanted to share my feedback on Zapper S Tyres (140/70/17) by MRF. It is a direct fit...no need to make any adjustments. Have clocked around 850-900 kilometres including a 300km trip to Silvassa this weekend. The tyre has very good cornering abilities...one can do corners at relatively higher speeds compared to stock Eurogrogrip tyre. Dry grip is good, did not experience any slipping issues, yet to check it on wet surface. Managed to do a top speed of 130 kms solo and 124 kms with a pillion (odo indicated speed)...so don’t think it should reduce your top speed by a huge margin. Also, have not seen any reduction in my bike’s mileage...still getting 37-38 kmpl on my daily commute to office. Changed front tyre to Zapper FX at around 31,000 Km (current odo reading of 34850 kms). The cost of tyre is Rs3000 without octroi near Mumbai.Last edited by hansraj84; 10-29-2013, 12:10 PM.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Hey Guys,
I had a fall on my NS yesterday while in a standstill. The bike fell to its left and has minor scratches on the handlebar and the clutch lever. I just have 112kms on the ODO.
Since the bike fell on the left and since the gear lever is the first thing that hits the ground, I feel that it has moved inward towards the due to the weight when the bike fell to the left.
Since then , when I ride, I feel that the gear lever has become harder/tighter and my gear shifts feel harder too.
There are no scratches on the gear shift lever though !
How do I check whether this is true and how do I get this fixed ?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Go to a bajaj SVC , and better get it checked,If found with a problem, they might do the needful and ask them to cover it under warranty if possible.Originally posted by speakfree2mk View PostHow do I check whether this is true and how do I get this fixed ?
Guys,
I know this may sound silly but lately I have a bit of a pain in my shoulders due to riding for continuous hours , and i realized becoz the handle seems to be low on the ns and the weight comes to your shoulders. Is there any way to increase the handles height, becoz this hasnt been a problem in other bikes like pulsar 150 or passion plus(which my chachu has!) and travelling some 80 odd kms on a passion plus never gave me shoulder problem.
Or can you replace the whole handle and switch it with a different and much higher one?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
With 615 kms gave the bike for 1st service. When i saw the expected amount i was surprised. they quoted as below:
oil change - 500
oil filter - 100 ( i think it is somethimg below Rs 80/-)
coolant top up - 100 ( i saw it later, my coolant level is alright. But still is Rs 100 justified?)
chain cleaning - 300 ( I told them not to clean)
pls let me know what should be the correct cost for part/services/oil. I am not going to pay them any extra money.
