Is that a Bajaj Pulsar 150 engine on a 200 NS? By the way to whom does the bike belong?

P150 with the cylinder kit of P200, AFAIK. Came across this on a Indonesian site.

Oh, BTW how are those tires performing now? It has started raining heavily here.
      I am back!

        Thanks for your inputs Shadowgun!

Well, I opted for larger bar end weights not just for the vibes but also as sort of matching (and protecting) the KTM Duke mirrors that I am planning to install for better visibility. Isn't hitting unruly jaywalkers a bonus .....kidding!!

I use chain lube regularly. Bolts and all are tightened. Bike is regularly serviced. Just have to try the Motul.

As far as soft mods go, haven't done much yet as I don't have a lot of time these days. I've replaced the pilot lamps with white LEDs. Replaced the small horn with a larger P150 one.

I gotta get me the hazard lights!! Share some pics of your bike bro.

        Thanks again!

vibes as I've a No Vibe Ns Till 107kmph. I think I can provide some info.
        1. First of all, get motul, leave bajaj dtsi crap oil. Vibes will.go by 60-70%.
        2. Then maintain clean chain + adjusted chain+ lubed properly =20-25% vibe gone.
        3. All nuts and bolts tightened properly- 5-15% vibes gone.
4.clutch adjusted, bike properly serviced)-5-10% vibes gone.
My ns is on motul, was yesterday chain lubed and now is total Vibe free till 100kmph.
Let me explain vibe free term also. Don't expect to get this much power with silence and stability like of a electric bike. Vibe less means bike is producing only those vibrations that are supposed to be produced by a machine of that capability.
I would like to share mods (soft) done by me
        1. Bigger horn (bigger than skoda one)
        2. Red led parking lights.
        3. Hazard indicator system.
        4. Rear mudguard off.
5.Little bit of white addition to red devil(stickering but in minimalistic and decent way, only to cover up some scratches)
        6.Motul 20w50 3100 gold oil.

Ya it's a DIY. Just connect both the indicators with a switch . Now turn on the switch and any indicator(left/right) amd you are done. (If your falsher can't take the load, you need to change it with a flasher of higher capacity( I use entizer's falsher) )

I had my first servicing done on 21- Nov - 2013 . The bill which i got along with it states next servicing due on 20 - Feb - 2014 .
That's just 3 Months [ 91 days! ] from 1st servicing and not 240 days . So should i wait a bit for like up to 150 days at least ? My Odo is 1400kms .
Also I read on forum that a guy got his bike serviced just like the svc told them with a gap of 90 days . Is it a trick to start our AMC early ?

And if i do take my bike for servicing now which motul oil should i use ? there are many variants in it ?

And i want my brake lever to be a bit tight should i take it to a regular mechanic ? Currently its a bit too loose .

Hazard lights, ah a switch has to be placed by short circuiting both side indicators. Now short circciting can be done either in the headlight or below seat.
Pls opt for a mechanic, switch will cost 20₹ and labour will be 20-30₹.
Regading service, 3 services has to be done in 8months. .and first service is done in 1 month of purchase, that Means 7 month's and 2 services, so ideally if your run is not much like mine, do 2 nd and 3 rd service with 90-100 days intervals
If money not a problem then Motul 5100 15w50.
If money problem then 3100 gold 20w50.

I would say stick with 20w50 Motul oil, as any other (15w50 it so) would void the warranty of the bike.
You can go with 7100 20w50 FS or 5100 20w50 SS.
I have spoken with the service guys here in Mumbai and also with Bajaj, Akrudi, Pune, what they said is if we use the same grade if oil as Bajaj has suggested(20w50), it wouldn't void the bikes warranty.

                  First of all, you're wrong
Using any other oil than bajaj voids warranty.some svc support motul because they stock it for probikes and they can have profit on motul too.
Second in summer use 15w50 ,in winter 20w50 for kickass performance without hassle and damage.
Third, in a grade, example xxwyy, ONLY YY MATTERS...!!
In our case, I.e. 20w50 ,use whatever you want. But it should be xxw50,
                  Go with 5100

Sorry for butting in but saying only YY matters in XXwYY is simply blasphemous

Please go through the following link to understand engine oil viscosity and grades better:

Btw its better to have a lower "XX" in winter as the "XX" denotes the cold viscosity rating, the lower it is, the easier for your engine to start in colder conditions.

                        Was talking about p200ns.
Only 20w,15w,10w are available to masses. They don't damage the bike as per experience, rest I've no dealing work in engine oil field, may be you know better. Thanks anyway.

Just got the rattling sound from my NS handle bars fixed. Took it to a local mechanic as I m not abke to visit the SVC. He just tightened the round bolt on the center of the handle bar(dont know what its called)and voila vibes gone feom the handle bar. And man the bolt was so loose . The mechanic just slid the tool on the bolt and gave it a little force and the bolt got loose.
