Anybody wants to get projector fitted on 200NS? I can fit AES 55watt projector at 6k, the color temperature is 4300K but 4100K can be sourced at an extra cost (The 4100K would be Osram one which comes as OEM in foreign cars).

Do not consider the above as an advertisement please, I do not seek to do any business from the above. I will install it free of charge if you bring your own projector kit but I won't be able to guarantee the reliability of the setup as I don't know about the quality of the projector kit being used.

I think I saw a 200NS with hydraulic clutch while on the way to college today, anybody knows anything about retrofit hydraulic clutch kit for Indian bikes?
      I am back!

I had recently saw someone post a pic of hydraulic clutch in 220 thread. If I remember correctly it was done at motozone and price was around 5k-6k

Well simple mods are welcomed but I believe in buying a cheetah rather than pumping steroids in a horse..

Hello xbhpians, I have booked a black Pulsar 200NS, and I wanted to know any thing that would be important to know while getting the delivery of the bike. Also if there is any previous thread or post regarding my query please direct me to it. Actually, previously I had to buy a Karizma ZMR and I had done all the research work regarding that. Only one day I went to a showroom to take a test ride of the ZMR, there adjacent to the Hero showroom, was the Bajaj showroom and i decided to have a look on the P200ns. There at the entrance I saw the black beast standing there and I was so much attracted towards it, as if it was calling out to me. Then and there I ditched the ZMR, and made up my mind for the 200 NS. Took a test ride and the following day booked it.

First of all congrats in advance on getting the beast. I also got my Pulsar 200NS last week on tuesday and today is the 10th day
So while getting ur bike do the following
                1. Check the bike look for scratches or any paint which is peeling off and report to the authority if the bike has any. As a new bike should not have paint issues
                2. Get the center/middle stand fitted. The bike does not come with the center stand. So it falls under accesories. Else you would have a hard time washing the wheels.(I washed my bike yesterday and believe me it was such a pain because I did not fit the center stand) would cost you around 600 bucks
                3. Follow run in period till 2000 kms. Do not rev up immediately on a new bike. Use choke when you first start the bike in the morning and do not immediately throttle away. Let the engine idle for a minute
                4. Check the engine oil level and coolant level.
                5. Take a test ride near the svc of the bike being delivered to you. If u find any problem report to them.
                6. Do not cross above 50 kmph speeds. I have gone up till 45 kmph only till now. Do not rev the engine hard immediately on a new bike
All done and you are good to go ...

Thanks for the reply. For the run-in period is there any specific rpm limit that i should follow. And I would surely get a center stand fixed at the time of delivery.

Shift in normal rpm. Do not cross 4 to 4.5 rpms.

2 months ago I met with an accident. Now, Sometimes when I take right corners it feels as if my wheel is going out (I.e. towards left) This doesn't happen when I take a left turn. Also when I change gear or apply front brakes suddenly bike get a little unbalanced. What could be the reason.

Front shocker base alignment is out( that black M shaped piece you'll get after removing headlight, handles and opening the big silver nut just below the place were we insert key. After removing that nut, you take out that M SHAPED piece and get it true aligned.
Now at bajaj svc opening and then putting it back Labour cost is 150₹, for alignment, the cost varies from 180₹ to 500₹( just the chance to loot you) ,also get BOTH SIDE ALIGNED, not one.
NOTE ,reason maybe something else too, as I've not inspected your bike.but the scene you're describing, 99% its the misalignment.

Listen, same was with me when I got my bike.
Normally, cold rpm ( when you just start bike) should be 1.3k to 1.4k rpm)
And when you ride bike a lot, it should go to max 1.6krpm.
                                Your idling is wrong.
                                Drive around 5kms or more.
Stop and put bike on stand.
Now on the rear brake pedal side of bike. ,you should notice a 2cm diameter of screw that you can turn by hand. Turn that to clockwise, you'll notice the rpm go up.now turn the screw such that rpm goes up to 3k.
                                Now is the patience part.
Start turning that screw anticloclwise, that will leas the rpm to come down from 3k, NOTE ,anticloclwise turns should be done in small angles,
Till the rpm comes down to 1.5krpm or 1.4krpm minimum. ,you're good to go.
Alternatively, you can go svc and ask them to tune idling.
But start doing things on your own,it's fun.
