What is it? Looks cool. The thing on the speedo looks like a gear shift indicator. Whats on the tank?

Awesome. Way better than my earlier ride pulsar 220. No vibes but yes there was an uneven vibe which I got solved. No false neutrals while shifting . Smooth gear shifts. And the bike is really fast. Following run in period so currently restrixting my speeds till 45 kmph. Clocked in 300 plus kms till now. Have to clean my chain though. Quite dusty out here where I stay so... Overall an awesome experience. I am loving the beast.

Might be a dumb question but how do you check the slackness of a chain? Googled it but found no great answers. And the pulsar 200 NS has some chain adjuster at either sides of the swingarm. So could somebody please elaborate? My chain feels a bit loose and I am cleaning it tomorrow. So I thought if somebody could help with the chain slackness checking it would really be good.

Yes. I agree only the branding done is same and named pulsar. Rest everything has been upgraded . A positive upgrade from previous generation pulsars. Yes many say the new dual toned colours look discoverish. But the discover had light tone blues. Personally I am not against dual colours as long as it is a pulsar

Having Some Question In My Mind

1. 3 Free Service Complete Km 6500 Time 7 Month I am Using 300v Motul 1.2 Ltr Question Is Is It Ok To Keep Using Same Or I Have To Change And For 300V What Is Period I Have To Change Oil And How Much I Fill 1.2 Is Enough Or 1.5 ?? If Oil Is More Will It Damage Any Better Oil Than 300v ?

2. I Am Thinking To Change Air Filter Any Suggestion I Mean Better Than Stock One And I Want Sound Also Brmmm Brmm From Bike So Will Air Filter Do That Or Any Other Mod

3. I Install Film My Headlight Is It Legal ??

I Live In Bangalore But After Installing Film My Headlight Intensity Reduce To 50% So Solve That Problem Any Other Lamp Replacement To Stock Lamp ?? Osram Or Philips ?

A1 .it is okay to use same oil. Change motul oils after 5months or 3-.35k kms ideally.
In my opinion, 300v is not worthy on Ns. 5100 is the best oil in terms of money and performance. Also never put oil more than 1.2-1.3 litres, if you put more,it'll leak out of oil filter hole.
A2. You want to have problems in your bike..? If no then forget the air filter change and go on stock. If yes then you can consider duke20's k&n filter.
3. Hmm, it isn't against law to install film as far as I know, and it's common sense that black film will degrade intensity, if you're a mostly day rider, then no problem.
Also PLEASE POST A FULL CLEAR HEADLIGHT PHOTO OF YOUR BIKE FOR ME PLS,
Lamp can be changed to Phillips extreme vison.

Wolf No 13 1) Bajaj recommends 1.2L, next time use 200ml from this pack & use the rest for top ups. 3000 to 4000km is the ideal kilometre to change fully synthetic engine oil. You can also try Motul 7100 many pulsar 200ns owners swear by this oil. Excess engine oil is not good it will foul the plugs so go for the above recommended quantity.2) Stock air filter is best, safe & reliable.3) If you want to increase the headlamp intensity then why have you smoked the lights? The stock headlight glass design of 200ns is best in the segment so don't hide it.

If you really want an aftermarket air filter, go for k&n rc1060.I have been using it for months now, its safe and contrary to popular opinion you dont need to change carb jets if your riding style is not very harsh. You can just get the carb tuned by a good mechanic and you are good to go
