And how do u think the blue NS is immaculate with engine internals in perfect condition ? and Where does Black NS shows signs of wear ?
Good thing is 200NS' engine is a gem, no problem if it's been much abused by the previous owner.
I agree, they are overpriced for the KMS they've done.
My only frame of reference is the test drive, the bike did not have any vibrations with smooth gears slotting into place nicely. I have taken a test ride of a new NS and the blue one did not feel any lesser.

The black one I could not ride, but it was very dirty with muck and dirt all over it. Started and revved the engine, heard nothing untoward. Will take a TD soon and revert. Blue is my least preferred color. I would love to have the NS in yellow, red or black, in this order.

Incase anyone on this forum has their bike up for sale in Bombay, do give me shout.

    Regards

Let's meet up someday and swap our 200NS' for once , then I will give u a heart attack by bringing in 70 km/h from standstill in about 4 seconds.

      joke
Actually my bike is not brand new its been 600 kms on the odo and today was the first time I crossed 60 kmph, so was sharing my experience.
Thanks for the invitation, would surely meet up sometime at G2G.

        The handle bar mod :
        MOD is not a DIY.
I got custom Triple T and Handle bars from Irevs. The bar mounts provided were short in height, required little looking around in market. I was looking for just right height of the mounts. Mounts from avenger look odd. Overall experience with Irevs was satisfactory. The customization solutions provided by them are targeted at stunt bikes. So mention your exact requirements to Irevs very specifically.

        Pulsar 220 headlights:
This mod was planned from the day one. Headlight assembly is available off the shelf at authorised bajaj spares shops at JC road. Searched a lot for a fabricator to get the fitting done and search came to end at a normal lathe shop who was interested in the idea. 3 hours of work and the final results came out above my expectations. I let the guy get creative and he did a splendid job. Although the material used to make the clamps is crude but final outcome goes well with the bike. And the proven efficient lighting of 220 is worlds apart compared to stock headlights. This set up doesnt rattle unlike stock headlights.

Let me know in case of any more queries
        Cheers

Yes I still do it. Everyday. And it's necessary, engines have maximum wear below their operating temperature and mostly when started from cold. It's a negative exponential graph. Wear vs temperature.

                That's one reason.
The main reason is that our engine are now at vertical hold ( unlike horizontal engines of splendor) so after few hours of standing idle, engine oil drops down ans some parts are literally not lubricated w.r.t. engine block walls. So, idling is allowed as it will let oil circulate in all engine at minimum wear. This is turn will ensure prolonged healthy engine and SMOOTH GEARSHIFT.when I don't let bike idle in morning, gear feels a little clumsy. Also, you can clean, wear helmet, check mobile while idling your bike.

Don't try to fix me, I'm broke so I don't work
So are you, but you're broke 'cause you don't work

It's something I do religiously every day, no matter how old my bike. In fact, everyone in my family does it. Suffice to say nobody has ever commented on our engines being rough and we've never had to open any of our engines.

What differentiates these 3 exhaust systems in terms of performance ?, Short System is supposed to be the loudest right ? Which one will work better for the engine in the longterm.. I guess none. I do, still idling for 30-60 secs.. as I begin my ride I maintain 5-7k rpms for 3-4 kms max, then it's redlining if I wish.
these are not perfectly tuned ones, you can better wait for one's from nmc performance or race concepts..buy the way i made a ffe on my own of my likings..

I was wondering why I see a lot of bikes everyday on roadside with seized engines and all vertically positioned.
It seems you know too much about motorcycle engines. From which college did you graduate or postgraduate in Automobile Engineering? Just to ask a friend of mine with 40% marks in PCM to select that college for his higher studies.

Q1, did I said not idling for a min wILL result in seizure. .?
Q2. the engine of splendor, as per engine positioning ,will have more components in oil lubrication constant or the engine of p200ns.
Q3. Are you a educational consultant. .? If so then you should read explore on field more, asking strangers on virtual world for career advice of someone might not be a better idea for your stomach feeding profession.

My knowledge about engines is very little, as compared to normal experienced xbhpains out there who don't have a degree. Having a degree in btech or any course doesn't guarantee that person will be amply master of that subject. Regarding my reply of that oil thingy, you can ask senior xbhpians whether I'm wrong or right.
And about that 40% buddy of yours, sorry bro, here IN DELHI, colleges need a 60% minimum + DECENT AIR Rank. You can try in the One you studied, maybe they'll accept donations, if you/he have money.

Sure. Some bunks cheat you and give you a lesser amount than what's shown in the reading. That's my experience here in Bangalore. Usually happens with Indian Oil outlets in my experience. If you're filling up alone at one of them, never ever take your eyes off the meter. I got cheated twice this way, I'm ashamed to admit.

On the other hand, it could be the fuel from these bunks have been adulterated or is of lower quality.

Whereas with private companies like Shell, Total, etcetera, the fuel is guaranteed to be pure and the meters true.

That's usually the reason why sometimes you can fill more in your tank when you're filling up from one of these public sector oil companies than when you do at a private company bunk.
