Took it to 110 kmph but it was thrilling. As I had no protection except helmet and riding shoes I did not take it beyond 110kmph. Fun starts after 5k RPM And also no proper roads here just have a 3 km stretch of highway after that have to take the small road to my home. People should visit digboi atleast once to explore the oil well number 1 where oil was first discovered. Not many people know it as Digboi is a very small town. But its significance of discovering oil for the first time in india is high. I do not see many riders visiting here. Please do visit oil well no. 1 here in digboi , Assam. P.M me if anybody needs any help here in Digboi. Roads are good here. And wvn ample accomodation.

rode the bike for close to 50 kms today in bumper to bumper and some open stretches, and i feel the bike engine has become very silent and smooth.
Also, gear shifts are very precise and Honda like clicks. so far happy with the performance of the engine oil. also noticed that the idling rpm has now increased to 1600 rpm when engine warms up (earlier around 1300-1400 rpm) which i presume is because of the oil change from Motul 3000 15w50 to Motul 5100 15w50 which is a lot better than the mineral 3000 i used all this days up until the 3rd free service yesterday
Also, there is a kind of krrrrrr noise around the front console and tank area which i am not sure of . The noise is there only when i increase the rpm above 3750-4000 Any suggestions are welcome.
Is the noise there consistently..? Because i also used to get the same noise but it stopped after a servicing when I pointed it out to the helper.
Now a days, it crops up once or twice but after a duration of 20-30 days.

The noise is from front headlight top most cover.Insert a small piece of paper folded 4-5 times so that the two plastic surfaces doesnt touch each otherand you ll be fine.

              Hello guys,
Got myself a November 2012 model 200 NS in my favorite color: yellow.
Loving it so far, need to adjust the levers a wee bit downwards. Other than that its a-ok.

Loving it so far. Will post pics shortly.

              Cheers

I tried stuffing the headlight assembly with damping material, it did not stop. Finally, i zeroed in on the sound which was from the central lock assembly.
Ironically, the noise would come only after reaching 4k rpm and while in motion.
So, i replaced the entire lock assembly including the petrol tank lock and side seat lock( which is a kit) and the sound in now gone.
                felling so happy.
total cost: 490 Rs for the complete lock set( original)
                Labour: 150 rs.

Well I did that when I serviced the bike for the first time last month The Svc guys had put a piece of rubber tube. But as days passed the rubber was gone it had slid inside. As the part underneath the plastic is a bit hollow. The only thing you could do is regular tightening of the bolts which holds the front plastic. It does the job. They are allen key bolts. Its been around a month now. No rattling sounds when RPM is high.

But today I took bike out after service (1st) to a friend's place and while leaving I took helmet and kept it on tank lid for some time.. Say 2 - 3 min and I wore my helmet back I could smell petrol. The bike was off for about 2hrs then. It was after 5pm I parked the bike there.. So I don't think it's due to heat now..

I too am suffering from the same problem, had shrugged off many times thinking it was just in my head. Then started parking the bike in shade, always ! Didn't help, it still had the fumes.

Hey guys how do you keep your documents below the seat..I kept in a plastic folder like thing but the water from daily wiping the bike went inside and causes fungus on the papers. They were photocopy of course. So how should I keep them then..? I always keep all photocopy as it's allowable in Mumbai.
