i wonder how people mention the mighty 600R and 1000R in their dream bikes and post questions about asking what is the average of this bike!
i have done lot of tours. once i was riding a 100cc on pune kolhapur express way holding the throttle full that bike wont cross 80kmph and i got average in 40kmpl odd figure.
so i feel that question is really subjective. you keep rpm at 4-5k you gonna get best of mileage figures from your machine.because you live life once!

Yes it is little sportier than DukeOriginally posted by Shibadip View PostI think the riding stance of 200NS is spotier than Duke 200
I did two 300km plus ride with a pillion (double sided -male) without any issues. The pillion doesn't slide around or fall on you on hard braking. Pillion didn't complain about anything after the ride, it is important to note that the pillion is quite habitual in sitting for long distance.Originally posted by raghavs View PostHave any one of the current P200NS owners rode with a pillion positioned single sided or double sided ? Any feedback from the Pillion perspective?..
It is very stable and doesn't shake at all.Originally posted by annydhanya View PostI just noticed that the rear tyre hugger is connected only on one side... Is it stable or does it shake/wobble?

Don't remove the Rear View Mirrrors, it's not safe to ride without them.Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Postwill removing the saree guard , tyre hugger and mirrors save around 5kgs of the bike ?
heard that the tyre hugger has got some metal from inside .. is it heavy ?
i want to make the bike lighter
The rear hugger is a solid piece with metal brackets and fixture holding it. It should weigh probably around a Kilo.. But remove them only after the monsoon is over.

For shedding some weight try having lot of eggs, water, oatmeal and avoid simple carbs.......... upps this is a biking forum.Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Postwill removing the saree guard , tyre hugger and mirrors save around 5kgs of the bike ?

I don't think reducing 5 kilo will make any difference.

reading all through this thread, the bike definitely seems promising on every front.
i wish Centaur Sir, from the P220 DTS-i thread had a 200NS, he would complete the run-in within 20 days

anyways, nice pics and a good detailed review.
