Console is orange.Originally posted by Enthusiastic View PostDARNNN.. The bike looks soo good and meaty in black. Superbike
Although the dual tone effect of other colors are lost in black but you have to believe that the golden engine complements the black color more than any other color
Why does everyone say that the console light is Orange when in picture it looks Yellow.
PS: This is the first bike in the whole world in Yellow color which appealed me.

P200NS easily dethrones the Yamaha FZ-16/S as the most desirable naked sports bike in India.
I guess this must be tagline for 200NS.
Any other idea guys???

Can't ask for more details. Thanks.Originally posted by JakeRockwell View PostMy bill details!

Got my beast....
hey all,
got my beast yesterday morning
.... though couldnt ride much due to rains
.... anyways here are my observations...
+ves :
1. Engine is smooth( not that smooth also as people are saying)
2. Gears are slick
3. Pick up is great..picks up from speed from any gear...
4. Seat is comfortable, handle position is upright
5. Handling is great, also the rear monoshock
6. Console is nice( its yellow colored and not orange as people are saying)
7. Brakes are very good
-ves:
1. Gaps between seat and rear panels
2. Can feel little vibrations at foot pegs when sitting as a pillion
3. Engine does heats up but not that much
4. The front suspension is quite hard, sometimes feels as if its wobbling which actually may be because of hard suspension ( any others owners felt this)
5. Bike swings little leftwards when handle is left, not stable...My ride....My SUNSHINE... :)

thanx for this post man... Do post nice pics... And more observations are always welcome... There is a lot of scope for improvement in design which maybe taken care of at the ug1 level... Handle going left is not a good thing... Any plans to raise the suspension at the highest level? If yes then do post after you do itOriginally posted by faffy View Posthey all,

when did the "3rd dimension" cm to influence u?
@Chintan: Thanks a lot buddy, we (Bangaloreans) are all waiting to hear the launch date. Different dealers here are saying different dates.
Mine is the 3rd one of the lot at Popular Bajaj, Jayanagar. This guys says the launch is on 19th, pakka but Khivraj Bajaj says 12th... i'm all confused..

Great bro... I have booked one down here at Bangalore...Originally posted by govind.one View Post
This is going to be a long post.. please bear with me.. also the story of love-at-first-sight!

Visited Jai Auto, Adyar today after getting fried in sun for almost 1 hour of traveling in traffic. On reaching there myself and my friend were crestfallen. Pulsar 200NS was no where to be seen.
They did not have the keys for the bike, so all we got to see and feel was P200NS yellow in "off" state.
We were walked into a dark tunnel like place which looked more like a warehouse, poor light (that justifies the poor picture quality). I never had seen P200NS in flesh before, the moment I walk in.. Bumblebee stands there in all his mighty, ready to roar. I realised what love at first sight would feel like.. I just couldn`t leave that place. I tried talking the person for keys, but he was helpless; he did not have it as well. I was told the Bajaj folks came here with two bikes: Yellow and Black for Sales approval from RTO. Sad, I didn`t even get to see the display light on!

But but.. In flesh, it is a lot meaty; a lot aggressive, ready to take on the streets. It is no heavier than any of the bikes I have ridden so far rather it is lighter (I have ridden a FZ, Pulsar 200, Pulsar 190 and Apache 180 RTR, didn`t own.. just rode them!). The console looked solid and not plastic toy-like, no where cheap (as I was told by Yamaha and Honda fans *no offense guys*). It retains the brand "Pulsar" look and feel (those were the only things I got to observe today!). Loved it, the next-gen Pulsar is here and is here to stay!
I noticed a little gap (not very big) between the back seat and the bike`s body (is it for easy of access to the battery?).
P.S: I have a few pictures with me.. I am not sure how to post it.. a little help please??

Okay bro.. thanksOriginally posted by JakeRockwell View PostCost of CS: 571 bucks
Ehm ehmm... I do not got answer for this...

What is the reason Bajaj removed CS from production version? Do any guys here know the reason? Scraping in corners?
I really love cornering... so when I fit CS, will it affect cornering?
Okey bro... waiting for your postOriginally posted by chintan99 View Post@Raphie & JK : Last week i had called Bajaj to thank them for the 1st bike. I said everyone is asking me when will the bike get launched in their city and the guy at bajaj laughed. He said chintan you yourself were not sure about the exact date of launch

. I had made more than 50 calls to Bajaj guys asking status of the launch and every time it was like we expect it to be very soon. One morning i got a call from Bajaj (Pune HQ) that we are dispatching your bike in couple of days and from 1st June 2012 we will be opening Bookings for P200NS officially.
I will call them again on monday and ask for you guys
