its Wonderful bike, i love it, looks really cool, i hope people should treat it in better way unlike those fools did with R15 which lead for Free Up-gradation Kit by Yamaha....

LOL, Similar story in my locality too. The guy bought a yellow ns, and while coming home from the showroom touched 130 kmph. Whenever he starts his bike he just takes off with a high rev. I told him to follow Run-In to which he replied that the showroom people themselves told "Bike bhaga sakte hai, No prob". I told him to follow the manual instructions and he tells me that "Manual me likha hai ki bike bhaga ne ka". God bless him and have mercy on his bike. This is going to a common sight everywhere.

        Seriously!!! Its Disguise

        Ask him,
Manual me kaha likha hai bike bhaganeka ? :O LoL

One more funny thing is i ride 70-80km on my RTR Beast everyday so after going home i Clean it, so yesterday after i clean my bike with Water & Cloth, as always i kept my Bike on Idle for 15-20 Seconds & then Rev it till 5-6rpm on Neutral, he came & did same infront of me saying my Bike Sounds better

I Said "Theek Hai Bhai" I Smiled & he went off with First Gear Wheelie

        • Confusion on Launch Date,Bangalore

          Hey Guys,

Khivraj Indranagar says the bike will be launched on 12th July.
Kalyani Bajaj,Mekhri Circle still maintains it will be launched at the end of this month.
          Total Confusion

@all, Does a bike has a unique VIN like that of cars, by which we can determine the manufacturing month of the bike? If yes, then generally where is it located?

Doesn't matter that much and the hills down south are not that steep that one needs continuously ride in 1st or 2nd gear. The vehicle can climb the ghat section in 3rd or 4th gear with ease.

              2. If you are changing the engine oil between 500-700km then that is more than enough
              3. I guess most of the metros (Chennai in your case) will get the bike by this month end. Not sure about Coimbatore

for clutch and gear i surely need to get it checked...

what i wanted to know is they changed my bikes entire wheel(with tyre and disc) with one from new 200 NS... so i am bit skeptical whether i should demand a new bike or retain this one and get the issues sorted out in this one only ,as these problems shouldnt have been there in a premium product....
Today while coming to office i noticed "low engine Oil pressure" indicator is continuosly blinking.... but i did check in morning engine oil was much above minumum level .... whats the issue here?

Don't worry that is not an issue. The area where the sensor lies needs to be tapped, just bring it to the notice of the service guy on your next visit.

Feel sorry for you bro, so many niggles in such a premium bike. I know all bikes are prone to some or the other niggles, but compared to other owners, you seem to be having quite a lot of issues. Nothing major though, should be fine after the service, but still...

And the bikes DO seem to have arrived in the Bangalore warehouses, as my dealer in Mangalore (A good 350 KMs away from Bangalore, if anyone's wondering ) has gone to Bangalore for some kind of inspection/training. He wouldnt have gone all the way unless the bikes have arrived right? So hopefully its gonna be good news for the people of Karnataka, who may be able to lay their hands on this beast within a week or so

Oh, and he did tell me that tomorrow he's gonna be back to Mangalore and test rides to begin from tomorrow, but I highly doubt a Mangalore launch BEFORE Bangalore, but fingers crossed anyway

To the rest of the deprived fans, all I can say is: My sympathies are with you, I know how frustrating the wait is (I myself have been waiting since last December ) but All's well that ends well
