Thanks for the amazing review... Lovely pictures too. I think the orange colour really brings out the best in this bike...Originally posted by MG View PostNow offering Tyga Performance products in India - Brought to you by Midnight Trades

Sir I didnt get the emission thing.If the powerband lies at high revs, naturally the engine will have to be revved more to extract that power, resulting in nearly same emissions and fuel drinking habits.Or it doesnt work this way? Can you please explain?Originally posted by antz.bin View PostI would suggest everyone to get used to this fact. None of the new generation bikes will have it in the future. If they have that, they will miss out on outright top speed (as in KTM). All this is happening due to stricter emission norms and slowly the 'Low End Torque' machines will be lost to the history books. The phenomenon started with the Cast Iron engined REs being discontinued and being replaced by lower 'Low End Torque' UCE engines. After BS5 norms get introduced (i.e. BS4 for bikes), we should see some of the old gen bikes getting discontinued. Which ones would go first, I do not know, but what we will be left with in a few years time are bikes like 200NS, Duke, CBR150R and Discover 125ST and similar launches from other manufacturers.

Dont think much about the niggles. Just go and collect your bike with a neutral state of mind.Originally posted by DDsouza View PostGuys, I am getting my bike on 19th, could MG sir or Chintan or any NS owner tell me what to look for or what are the need accessory ?

If there are nigles they will surface and you will come to know by yourself
And center stand is not necessary, it depends on you.
Wish you all the very best!!

Faffy it's really sad to see you are facing so many issues! Don't worry think will get fine!Originally posted by faffy View PostToday while coming to office i noticed "low engine Oil pressure" indicator is continuosly blinking....
but i did check in morning engine oil was much above minumum level .... whats the issue here?
But i doubt whether your bikes is a Test Ride bike?? if no then are you sure it's not??
Because i had seen one Bajaj Showroom here in thane, giving testride on un registered bikes with speedo cables out so no increasing kms to see!! And people test ride it like hell, all stunts etc!!
or it can be some unfortunate time you are facing

Thanks Shibadip... Center stand will be required in Bangalore definitely... Tank pad also seems a good option too...Originally posted by Shibadip View PostA center stand for sure, if you are required to park the bike in tight public parking.
I also think a Tank-pad is a must P200NS.
And proper riding gears without any question____________________________________________

bajaj showroom guys had offered me a p220 for test ride .. it had its speedo disconnected and it was unregistered .. it even had most of its plastic wraps in place .. the only way you can be cautious while taking delivery is by looking at the centre part of the rear tyre .. all unused new tyres will have smooth finish with some excess pieces of rubber sticking out from the thread .. used tyres will be rougher with tiny pores in them ...please be sure to check this during delivery ..
@ddsouza and karan -- are they surely launching it on 12th ... test rides from 12th ??Last edited by Rohan200ns; 07-10-2012, 08:03 PM.

@ faffy, good to see even after those issues, you blaming your luck rather than thrashing BAjaj.Originally posted by faffy View Postthanks for the concern dude....but its not a test bike, ita a brand new bike, delaer had got two yellow ones, and as soon as he got,he called me to come and choose the bike...... may be its bad time going on for me

I know its hugely frustrating to have issues crop up in a brand new bike, but i guess the SVC guys are attending your bike properly. Make sure all the issues are cleared out at the service center.
BTW, i read that bajaj guys are keeping a close watch on the KTM ownership thread. Guess it will be the same for this thread as well.
All the best for a niggle free ride.

I visited the Popular Bajaj today... But was not able to talk to Vikram since he had been to training on the same P200NSOriginally posted by CrashOverride2786 View PostI booked it there. Have not received a call yet. I called them though! My contact, Vikram told me that the test ride vehicle will be there on the July 19th and deliveries will commence in 2 days.
Can you please call them and find out? Talk to the guy named Vikram. I called him so many time already!!! Do update me how it goes!

Ex-showroom ->85,860
Insurance -> 1,606
registration fee->12,744
smart card -> 300
--------------------------
100510
Accessories -> 3215 (even they didnot know what all are included in this)
