@ other owners : please try this , start engine and rev the bike ( bike parked on side stand) and with one hand hold the rear foot pegs and see if u can feel any vinrations .... i am getting loadz of vibrations at rear foot pegs when sitting as a pillion
Good to know that the damaged oil seal on your bike was replaced and the front suspension noise taken care of.

Am surprised with the vibration that you are stating. On my ride experience the bike was reasonably vibe free. Maybe you are expecting electric bike like zero vibration from an internal combustion engine.. which honestly would be too much to expect.

The gearshift of the Pulsar 200NS is actually very good with no false neutral encountered by me.. maybe it could be an issue with the linkage of the gear shifter mechanism on your bike. Get it properly checked.

The suspension of the P200NS is a bit firm.. this has been done to give the bike sharp handling.. one will have to live with it.

yeah we cant expect electric bike like zero vibrations but what i was expecting was atleast 220 like vibe free...but i am feeling loadz of vibrations at foot pegs(rear) when sitting as a pillion...may be coz as somebody pointed out that it doesnt have rubber on it, vibes can be felt...

for clutch and gear i surely need to get it checked...

what i wanted to know is they changed my bikes entire wheel(with tyre and disc) with one from new 200 NS... so i am bit skeptical whether i should demand a new bike or retain this one and get the issues sorted out in this one only ,as these problems shouldnt have been there in a premium product....

The P200NS is much much smoother than the P220.. check with any other P200NS against your own vehicle to make sure if there indeed could be an issue with your bike.

Nobody gets it right the first time bro.. even Honda (the supposed benchmark of quality) had many issues with the CBR250R. Just make sure that you get the issues sorted with commitment from the service guys.

Your bike is under warranty (not guarantee). Understand the difference here. The faulty parts will be replaced. But you cant replace the bike under any circumstances.

All this is happening due to stricter emission norms and slowly the 'Low End Torque' machines will be lost to the history books. The phenomenon started with the Cast Iron engined REs being discontinued and being replaced by lower 'Low End Torque' UCE engines. After BS5 norms get introduced (i.e. BS4 for bikes), we should see some of the old gen bikes getting discontinued. Which ones would go first, I do not know, but what we will be left with in a few years time are bikes like 200NS, Duke, CBR150R and Discover 125ST and similar launches from other manufacturers.
Thats exactly the reason why I am not trading my P220 dtsi for any of the new bikes. You nailed it right, none of the new bikes CBR250, KTM200, P200NS, R15 etc are able to provide that extra shove in all the gears (especially at lower rpms).
However, I do not agree with the part where you mentioned about emission norms. I believe, this is more about better efficiency, as generating more torque at lower rpms might increase fuel consumption.
As 2 stroke Engines too can be manufactured to meet current emission norms (read somewhere dont remember) however, I don't see why existing 4 stroke bikes should have a problem meeting the emission norms with some tweaks from the factory.

Can you please call them and find out? Talk to the guy named Vikram. I called him so many time already!!! Do update me how it goes!

Looks like its 12th(just 2days more) for the Bangalorians. All the best.

@all, Does a bike has a unique VIN like that of cars, by which we can determine the manufacturing month of the bike? If yes, then generally where is it located?

A center stand for sure, if you are required to park the bike in tight public parking.
                          I also think a Tank-pad is a must P200NS.

And proper riding gears without any question

                            • One of Ass*** owned this beauty near by my area, he is completely arrogant, ( dont even Understand Runin Period, how to Read ODO) He is ripping everything about bike stunting on it, he claimed top speed of 188 (Reason its 200CC, so it gives around 188 kph lol) whenever i see him on bike i say "Bechari Bike"

its Wonderful bike, i love it, looks really cool, i hope people should treat it in better way unlike those fools did with R15 which lead for Free Up-gradation Kit by Yamaha....

1.Is it good for engine while climb up the hill during RUN IN period.
2.Do we have to change engine oil before 1st service?
                                3.When P200NS will be available in coimbatore(TN)?
                                1. No problem in climbing a hill during run-in.
                                2. If you are changing the engine oil between 500-700km then that is more than enough
                                3. I guess most of the metros (Chennai in your case) will get the bike by this month end. Not sure about Coimbatore

                                1) Vibration.Sometimes when there is steep road the bike shakes like hell even at lower gear.
                                2) The bike makes some kind of blasting sound when i use choke to start it in the morning.
                                3) Rear left foot-peg is weak and is bit bend towards ground when someone climbs it.
                                1) Can't comment on this one
                                2) Get your CO and idling checked. The bike will be fine
                                3) The pin holding the footpeg might be loose, not a big thing.
