    Noone here has tried the top speed on their bikes as all are in RUN IN periods except ONE AND ONLY SURO. If suro has tried it he would post that very soon.

        Guys please tell me!
        1.Is it good for engine while climb up the hill during RUN IN period.
        2.Do we have to change engine oil before 1st service?
        2.When P200NS will be available in coimbatore(TN)?

          its top speed is limited to 136kmph .. it reaches its top speed way quicker than cbr150 and p220 .. anyways nobody is going to hold on to its top speed for long time so that should not matter .. streets nakeds are all about 0-60 and 0-100

            To all Ns owners, Does the showroom teflon coat the bike before deliver if ordered ?
            I would also want to out a tankpad, will it be available with the dealer ?

              teflon coat is absolute waste of money .. they r just going to apply some wax polish and buff it .. u can do it yourself .. tankpads will not be available at the dealerships .. u might get only p220 tankpad there ..
              btw , did u ask about the test rides ??

                Hi All,
                I bought Pulsar 200 NS on 17th June and have completed 1040 kms , have been to lonavla nad lavasa once.I feel its great bike for cornering.It also has great accelaration but i am facing following problems with this bike:-

                1) Vibration.Sometimes when there is steep road the bike shakes like hell even at lower gear.
                2) The bike makes some kind of blasting sound when i use choke to start it in the morning.
                3) Rear left foot-peg is weak and is bit bend towards ground when someone climbs it.

                Senior members please help or suggest something to resolve these problems

                  I got free one time teflon coating when I got my bike. I did not ask for tankpad and I thinkk bajaj has not yet launched tankpad of P200NS.

                  @ JK, Shiba and others : I could not contact bajaj guys as I was very busy with work. Will contact them tomorrow and keep you updated. Now I need to ask for kerala and kolkata right?

                    First of all congratulations for your new bike.

                    For your querries
                    1) Go to service guys and get it checked. I have tried the bike on steep roads of walkeshwar in mumbai but there was no vibration at all. Though roads of walkeshwar won't be as steep as of lonavalla and lavassa.

                    2) Haven't tried giving choke in morning. Will do that now when I go home and will get back to you.

                    3) If the rear footpeg is weak or has manucaturing fault they will replace it for free. Get it checked at service centre.

                    Go to service centre at the earliest.

                      AFA vibes in slope- when you are in lower gears in slopes it acts as engine breaking hence the vibes, shift to higher gear then itll be alright..

                        Ya, that will do for me. Thanks in advance.


                        About tank-pad, I think, 200NS will surely need a tank-pad, coz what i'v seen the tank bumps up vertically to quite an extent from the seat, and if tank-pad is not provided, that part might get discoloured quickly

                            vibes may be because u might be lugging the engine at lower rpms ..
                            that blasting sound is a misfire .. happens when the ignition timing is not proper or when the fuel fails to burn due to some impurities in it ..
                            no idea about the rear foot peg
