May be thats the reason why @MG; @Suro and others could'nt report it.
Well I'm OK with that, coz I will hardly be sitting there.., and as far as pillion is concerned, she/he should not complaint, as long as she/he is getting free massage

if I be your pillion I would definitely complain....
Jokes apart...good thing that Pulsars has evolved so much that vibes are there after 6-7k rpm...previously whichever Pulsar I drove it was not the situation...hats off to them...but this issue can be minimized with the optimum shifting and keeping the engine in proper rev range...this way I took one of my friends 180 till 110 before feeling to slow down...but yes once again you can not expect refinement like Honda and Yamaha in Bajaj, may be the hardcore pulsar maniacs would kill me for this but the truth is right now you can't really expect this and you won't get also but you never know the future...

        Hi friends,

Well, its a good news for me and I believe for all the owners and perspective owners. My NS first mileage figures. When I got the bike, the ODO showed 13.9 km of running. I got a tank full (Extra Premium) and then yesterday at 577 km of running, I got the tank full again.
        So, Average = (577-13.9/11.38)= 49.48 km / ltr.

        ODO Reading: 13.9 km
        Amount : Rs 800
        Distance Traveled : 563.1 km
        Rate(Rs/L) : Rs 70.28
        Petrol Type : Extra Premium
        Litre of Petrol : 11.38
        Average : 49

Now, it must be in your mind... that's awesome to speak about.
Right !! But, now the questions which would be arising, to answer them.

I have ridden 40-48 km/hr till 450 kms on the ODO. Got the first service and now running at 55 km /hr [Max Speeds] and occasionally touching 70 to 74 km/hr once or twice for few seconds as suggested by Payeng till the ODO reaches 2000 Km.
Its more of a mix with 60% highway riding and 40% city traffic [And its just not normal traffic, its all the jam which I face everyday].

So, I guess its a good number which I got in return.
bro did u got the bike from delhi or ghaziabad itself..?? It is still not available in UP i guess

        • Hello to all, this place is one of the best I have come across awesome reviews and suggestions. There is no need to buy a bike just reading this thread is a joy, enjoying all your experience. Even I am very found of 200ns, I finally got my hands on it yesterday went for test ride at bannerghatta road. I had to wait for a long time for my turn not that there was rush but my friend took TD before me and din't return for 20mins, I was thinking he has gone for a long drive but it turned out that bike ran out of fuel meanwhile I was just admiring the yellow bubble bee standing in showroom and had decided on color yellow. So, after a long wait when I took the ride the bike was smooth , I dint feel any rush to zoom on this bike just felt I was riding any other 150cc bike in traffic, the very feel I was waiting for when I would ride it had disappeared.
I am 6ft and lean I tend to touch both my legs to the tank while riding, I felt vibration on tank from the start throughout my ride, so i just kept my legs a bit apart & rode it. Well I don't want to adjust once I have spent so much money so I have decided to go to another showroom for TD tomorrow before I cancel buying it , I am unable to think of riding any other bike I will dearly miss the bubble bee for I spent so much time enjoying everyone's joy for this bike.

Bro...in heavy traffic a 250 cc bike may also feel like so its not about the bike its about the traffic....and the vibe issue is there which I also felt while riding it in Mumbai Pune Highway...but..again....kuch pane ke liye kch khona parta hai bhai..

Today, there has been not even a single drop of rain that has fallen. Its petty hot and humid here in NCR. Its not steam, that is for sure.

Just asking.. you were not riding in the wet before this na?
No suro, its was all dry today and not a single drop of water have i driven through. It was definately smoke from the exhaust pipe. That is what i'm sure sort off. I'm currently running @ 700 km on ODO. I guess you have driven a lot more than me and to some terrific places. Do you have any such experience. Its just the exhaust problem right, nothing to worry.. Anyways, I have got the new oil filter which was not replaced at first service. I have shown them the paint peel off from the engine head and now this... I'm sure sort going for the exhaust tech replacement. I got some more strong points to them to consider my case. But, i guess some issues are creeping in my NS. Even my horn was not working, which i got it corrected when i went for oil filter replecement.

Any faults to look for before i buy ?
Suggestions from anyone with help tooo x)
Things which i did, i can mention it for sure....
                A. Check if the front tyre has the colored strip, it ensures that your bike has not been on roads for long. Also, check out the ODO for km run. I guess 10 to 13 km is in normal range.
                B. Check for any scrach over the bike, specially the paint area.
                C. Test the bike before you buy, just a normal TD. Rest will be fine.

I checked only these and found every thing ok, so i took it.

And the paint peel off, or smoke are some issues which have come over in my bike. No one else has reported these issues. And i guess these were not there initially. So, you can't help it. These are the fresh lots and issues are bound to come, you just need to deal with it positively. I don' think personally, vibes as a major issue as long as i'm enjoying my ride. And if at all it troubles you, i guess its just some nut bolt to tighten ... Which can be done as i have not seen vibes till 5 k rpm on my machine...

                          Hi Guys,

I am getting my Pulsar 200 NS next week. Can you please tell me on installing stock replacement air filter(K&N or Green). I am sure many are planning to install them to make the bike Roar after run-in. Power gain is not at all a priority!

Could you please tell me any disadvantages. Any Ideas on which model should I install?

                          Thank You!
