I paid the full amount in 17th itself and they offered me delivery within two days. But when I called they told me that only 8 bikes were arrived for launch and each of them was sent to different showrooms and they got only 1. If they give that to me they wont have any display bike. The first batch comes in saturday and they assured me of delivery on monday.

Info - DIY
Hi friends,

Pulsar 200 NS idle rev ranges from 1.1 to 1.5. For people who have some problem with any tuning part, you don't have to wait to take it to service for this. Its a DIY - All you need is a screw driver.
In some bike you would have seen the screw which is adjusted for tuning the bike. You can locate the same when you put some throttle, you can see some steel wire part moving. If you look closely, you will find the screw there itself. Same goes here with our NS, but due to the frame its hidden and inacessible. So, its extended by a ~1.5 inch screw as seen on the image.
Hope it helps. Cheers !!!!

thanks ashwini. was very much looking for this information.
Even the the earlier pic tht u uploaded of the bike ripped apart at the SVC, was also very useful.
BTW, is that a AFR screw, or Idle tuning screw???
Thanks a lotLast edited by Shibadip; 07-20-2012, 10:10 PM.sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

The biker in me was ignited by a humble P150 Classic, followed by P180UG3 and then the 220Dtsi.. How can miss this milestone in the Pulsar saga!Originally posted by Shibadip View PostWelcome to the group.

What about the 1500 extra? You will be getting a refund or will be adjusted later?
BTW I'm going to follow the Motoman's way Break In, as I did with my previous bike, and ready with an H4 HID kit.Last edited by rahuldevnath; 07-20-2012, 10:55 PM.Been There, Done That; Better!

Dude please read my query I was asking if it is available as an accessory or can we fit something by ourselves....Originally posted by rahuldevnath View PostCan you think of making someone sit single sided on R15 V 2.0? I bet it would be a hell of a lot scary ride for pillion.
It's your bike after all, ofcourse there can be modification made to customize the bike anyway you can. But expecting Bajaj to implement it is absurd!
I never asked bajaj to make Saree guard with footrest compulsory to 200ns
coming to R15 v2 the reason you mentioned is why I have dropped it from my list
I have seen 200ns, pillion seat height and comfort felt much better than R15 v2 (my personal opinion)Last edited by suhas chowdhary; 07-20-2012, 11:30 PM.

I honor your view of Indian bike..... but for me I love bike not company, may it be Indian or from some other.Originally posted by payeng View PostLabel me a fanboy but as an Indian owing a Pulsar to me means much more than owing a Ducati (even if I might be able to afford one). Makes me feel proud as an Indian (the "NS" even more so). With or without Racing..
To each his own I guess.
