Yes, Suhas, I also never specifically quoted you. Technically it's impossible to retrofit Discover's or any other bike's saree guard on NS. I guess, you will need to weld it after all.Originally posted by suhas chowdhary View Post

Welcome man, will be posting anything which i think will be helpful for our NS ownership group. Wait for my minute observations over a small review.Originally posted by Shibadip View Postthanks ashwini. was very much looking for this information. Even the earlier pic tht u uploaded of the bike ripped apart at the SVC, was also very useful.
BTW, is that a AFR screw, or Idle tuning screw???
Thanks a lot
And to answer your question, Its the idle tuning screw.

So you mean if I have the Honda Stunner I have bought the racing bike?Originally posted by suhas chowdhary View PostHello rahul you are asking people to buy a commuter bike just because they want to carry a pillion who is a traditional Indian women (mom/sis/wife etc) isn’t that insane?
And more over people buy Bajaj bikes mainly because Bajaj customizes its bikes to suit the Indian audience and Indian environment (I was an MBA student and did a project on two wheeler buying behaviour).
And boss 200ns is no way an Indian Ducati. As for me and many others they would go for Yamaha/Honda/Duke if they are looking out for a complete racing machine as we know they are pioneers in making racing bikes and not Bajaj for sure (with 200ns engine 70% similar to Duke).
For me 200ns is a complete VFM with sheer power for daily use and occasional outbursts (we know Indian roads)
And thanks for your concern about carrying a single sided pillion I have been doing this since 10years and I know how careful I should be when I am carrying them
Sir racing bikes don't come into production. Thats your physcological thinking. And racing bikes are used for track only. Now dont tell the R15 or CBR250R is a racing bike or else I wil laugh and fall. Its about powerful bikes and on an avg Bajaj bikes are more powerful than what Honda/Yamaha is offering (leaving beside unaffordable imported ones). If you buy an R1 or ZX-10R Ninja and talk about racing machine its ok but buying a FZ/R15/Dazzler and talking about racing bikes is a BIG JOKE!!
+1, As impressive as always sir. Driving the best manufactured bike in our own country by our own manufacturer is the most priceless feeling for mostOriginally posted by payeng View PostLabel me a fanboy but as an Indian owing a Pulsar to me means much more than owing a Ducati (even if I might be able to afford one). Makes me feel proud as an Indian (the "NS" even more so). With or without Racing..
To each his own I guess.

I have paid full amount almost 12 days back @ Khivraj Indiranagar and expected delivery date is anyday before 26th.Originally posted by rahuldevnath View PostCan we know how many from Bangalore have made the payment and awaiting delivery, and the promised delivery date to them?
Today they were bringing the first lot from their warehouse in Peenya. I had been to their showroom today at around 3 pm, couldn't wait till 5:30 - they were getting their bikes by this time. Anyone visiting their showroom tomorrow can confirm.
Thanks.

ownership
hello guys.. i m new to this thread.. i own this beast from last 10 days.
want to ask some question to the other owners..
in neutral if u revv up bike upto 4000 rpm... did u xperience any humm... sound from the tail light part.. my bike tail part start making too much noise...
other than this... i bought the bike from other state & it is not yet launched in my state.. & the mechanics on my hometown delearship didnt service any ns till now... so i m afraid of them.. in this condition what should i do.. is it good to just change the engine oil by myself & if yes then which grade & brand or first service require to be done by a mechanic...
overall bike is really good.. & yes it vibrates coz its an combustion engine not a electric yo bike..!!

also want to know how to treat my love till its odo reads 2000... i didnt revv it up more than 4000 (62 kmph max)... 5000 only for 2 or 3 times only for few moments.Last edited by ns for u; 07-21-2012, 01:29 AM.

Hey guys..I still am not getting that elusive test ride..but i took a few pics of the bike at last..
The showroom got 3 black NS ( i wish they got other colours as well
) Sat on it for the first time and let me assure you, no way a P220 will give you the same feeling! ( no offense to any P220 owners
) i am 6ft 1" so i didnt have any problem balancing it.. Even the duke has arrived here and it looked great as well. But my heart is smitten only by One Bike - The Pulsar 200 NS - that is all.
Few pics for anyone interested
sigpic
Ride safely and responsibly. Remember, we have just one life.

If Nike comes with a low end sport shoe and Bata with a new sport shoe at same range....
now don't tel me BATA(Bajaj) has better expertise in making sports shoe than Nike(Honda/Yamaha)...
no personal offence Enthusiastic
Its only that Yamaha/Honda wants to lay down a platform to actually increase its customer base to move the customers and market to the next level
live example
1985 - FJ1100 for developed markets - rx100 for India
1998- R1 for developed markets- rx135 for India
its only now that market in India is developing and just went forward to 200 n 250 cc or 25bhp engines...
For complete sports biking its still far ahead to go.....
sorry mods for complete OT conversation but I felt the need to explain my thoughts with analogies...Last edited by suhas chowdhary; 07-21-2012, 01:40 AM.

But its not impossible mate that Bata cannot make better shoe than Nike in that range. In many areas they can offer. and slowly Bata would make products in the bigger range also. And yes Bajaj are much ahead of Bata. After all Bata sells only in India but Bajaj sells 35-40% outside India also. and at the end of the day what you get is the main thing. If Bata bought redtape and researched on a new shoe with them which can thrash Nike in that Range then be happy with what you are getting. And if you can maintain a 180HP shoe then go for it no point in discussing the middle level shoes. And yes Bata is much ahead of Shree Leathers (Hero,TVS). And bata is no Bajaj eitherOriginally posted by suhas chowdhary View PostROFL

We cant come into conclusion so let people decide what shoe they want

How come.. Then it would be even lesser in Pondicherry (and other UT) where they have lowest tax. Living in Karnataka is like punishmentOriginally posted by ns for u View Postguys do you know that... 200 ns on-road price in dehradun (uttarakhand) is only 90,535/-...

Congrats to @Surojit, his review is posted by Bajaj's Official FB page. That was a damn good review

Dude FYI Bata is not an Indian company It has a retail presence in over 70 countries.... and sorry for comparing Bata with Bajaj where Bajaj doesn't deserve thisOriginally posted by Enthusiastic View PostBut its not impossible mate that Bata cannot make better shoe than Nike in that range.....................
Except 200ns that too 70% Duke engine what else have they achieved.....
90% of their bikes turn into garbage within 3-4 years...
now anti Bajaj guy in me is being brought out, this is actually harmful for myself as I am also going be a bajaj customer in less than a month
what so ever this would be my last post on this Bajaj capability topic.....
