--Finally booked my Red NS today here at Het Auto,Shivranjini,Ahhmedabad.
--The Booking amount paid is 20k.
--On-road price is 97,982 (including the helmet's price & 2x Teflon coating [ First at the time of delivery & the other after 6 months] )...the dealer also said that I can buy any helmet from his own shop nearby by paying the excess amount (if any).
--Initially the exec. said that the waiting period is around 10-12 days if I pay by cash & 20-25 days if I pay by any other means...but then , after paying the booking amount he said that he had a chat with his "boss" & said the waiting period is 5 days after paying the full amount.The exec. was very confident regarding this...he said,"I won't let it stretch to the 6th day !"
--I asked him to upgrade the horn of the NS to 220's , but he suggested not to do so.
--Also I asked whether he'll take the Eurogrips if I tend to upgrade it to some other brand but he declined.
Already shortlisted some 12 things "ToDo" as soon as I get my bike ::
1:Off the rear tyre hugger.
2:Off the saree guard.
3:Off the front fender's mud flap. (It doesn't rain here @ ahmedabad that often*)
4:Brush off the front portion of the front mud flap. ( Not yet sure whether I'll do this one or not )
5:Stickier & possibly fatter rear tyre. (Not more than 140 though)
6:Similar soft compound tyre up front.
7:Black matte finish on the rear no. plate hanger.
8:White coloured inscriptions on both the tyres.
**9:Black "mask" on the rear portion , including the lower bottom side of the rear portion of the bike. ( Not yet sure whether I'll do this one or not )
10:Rear monoshock set on the highest seating position so as to get a more aggressive look & feel.
11: Duke's Monoshock side tyre hugger in place of the NS' if possible.
12:220's Horns

I just went few hours ago to Khivraj Indirangar for the Full Payment of my Beast and enquired about the Center Stand as well..its not there yet but the Showroom guy has told me that they will inform me when it is available..
Now i am counting days when i will LAY MY HANDS ON MY BLUE BEAST...finally after so much of confusion i went ahead with BLUE..
Will get my Bike in another 10 Days hopefully....
@Banglorians..Guys did any one of you went for a Special Number as well as new Number plate..??
I enquired about it but they are saying it can only be given at RTO office with some payment of around 2k..is it so ???

I varied the speed a lot, 40-65 on highway and in city I've not crossed the 50 ie 3500 RPM. When I got the first service done, i overheard one of them saying that the engine has been perfectly run-in cos the engine is still smooth and the gearshifts as wellOriginally posted by rexrex View Post, thanks to all u guys for the invaluable riding tips! Even i had the confusion so initially i went with the YELLOW bumblebee type
but my parents dint like it so opted for RED one, and if u ask me all colour looks great.... thats why there is soo much confusion in choosing

I got the IND number plate for front & rear paid 450 Rs.

the same thing had been shared many times here... Go for fz front zapper fx 100/80 if you dont find pirelli... just look for the exact same tyre specs of ns for direct replacements..
fz's front tyre and r15's rear tyre (radial tyre which is way better) are direct fits ..cheap and best optionComment
