And the reserve capacity is 2.4 liters. On a full reserve, one can run about 100 kms.. depending on the riding style.
Thanks guys.. I will check it again and hope i get used to it..

But is the heat issue anything to worry about ?

The test drive bike I rode had the fan turned on most of the time. I guess its not a issue!

Am in for the responsibility. I will look after it well, feed it, nurture it and will also give a visit to the doctor and health checkup. All u need to do is load it up and send it here.

                  @myth: haha good one...
@all: any idea if the alloys can be exchanged with that on the 220? Personally didn't like the alloys... Looks girlie girlie rosy rosy type...IMO anyone from kolkata with 220 wana exchange them with this one after i get my ride....?

Got my bumblebee today at 6:30 !
Anyways few questions : I could feel the heat of the engine quite prominently and the fan was getting switched on ..
And i also realized that the speedo was disconnected and it had run 11.6 kms !!
Since i was going to the temple my dad told me to get it fixed tomorrow..
Is anyone else feeling the heat i'm talking about ??
Is it something to worry about or is it normal {The heat} ??
And will they replace my bike by any chance if i complain about the speedo being disconnected ?
if the speedo was disconnected then you have to imagine that your bike has completed the run-in by motoman method ..

all i want to say is ,, dont involve yourselves in testing topspeeds with normal streets bikes ..it is very dangerous to ride the bike at its limit ... doing 140 on a bike whose top speed is 140 and doing 140 on a bike whose top speed is 250+ makes a world of difference ..

                                Yes from Bangalore. Khivraj Indiranagar.

Ok now I got my bike on 10th Aug.

Incident 1: Yesterday 11 th Aug, I had some work and started from E City. As I crossed EGL, ppl at signal told me that petrol was leaking. I found pertrol draining from a drain pipe(on the right of the bike below the right foot rest). Pulled over and stopped my engine (saw pertol flowing like water). Turned off petrol knob and then the flow turned to drops and then it stopped. With petrol off, I drove to Khivraj Indiranagar. Told the manager the problem who took me to the service center behind. Waited for 2 hrs to get the carb cleaned. Bike is good now.

Scv guys tell me that when I filled 10 L petrol on 10th, there could have been dust in the tank along with petrol. But I wonder if that is the case or the dust has come from bajaj plant directly (my bike was unloaded on 10th according to dealer). Today found myself checking for petrol leak at every signal after the incident.

Indicent2: Went to JC road to buy mineral oil. Bought 2 * 1L bottles of Shell Helix HX3 20W50. Realized after its no good for bikes and is meant for old cars. Going to return it tomorrow; not sure if they are open on sunday.
