@Kaydee...Thanks for the info mate..will surely check all these things and yeah i will search out for any single scratch and will not take the delivery until i am satisfied...

Yes, it's part of the standard accessory no extra. I have the Centre Stand installed as well from Khivraj Kasturba road only. Comes to 630 buck including labour charges. It's available right away.
@Rahuldevnath..Okies..but i was in a mood to get it installed for free from Khivraj Indirangar itself since i didnt get any discount as well as paid 500 bucks extra dn the previous price..new price they are quoting is Rs100915..
And i have made the full payment..itna to chalta hai..i hope they get the center stand before i get my delivery so that i can somehow convince them to give it for free..

Thanks , i was all set for phobia but when i saw this evil twin helmet, changed my mind.

OT : a funny incident happened with me today in the morning.. i started the bike n left it fr 2-3 minutes as suggested by few members here.

in those 2-3 minutes i thought i would check the coolant and engine oil levels, n ll do some cleaning.
I did not see a single drop of engine oil , and i panicked , yesterday i had driven some 40kms at a stretch and I thought what if half of that was with no engine oil.. Started checking for any leakage, bent down and something struck me.. it was on a side stand .. My Bad.. made the bike perpendicular and saw the oil comin into the proper level...
ATGATT! There are many wonderful riders/drivers out there who would intrude in your riding space without any notice. Be prepared. Stay Safe.

On the KTM 200Duke, that hole provides for a mounting point for the belly pan on the 200 Duke. Since the bottom half of the engine on the 200 Duke and the 200 NS is identical, on the 200NS they remain as empty holes.

Getting the belly pan of the 200 Duke fixed on the 200NS would be difficult though as the silencer routing on the 200NS goes below the engine block as compared to the 200 Duke which goes from the side of the engine block.

Best of luck mate. Though with the huge demand for NS, I'm not sure how far you would be able to convince them to give the stand for free.

BTW, once the engine is started, as it is the oil level will go down in the inspection window, even if it's on centre stand.

              • P200 NS till now

Almost 200 km done on the Odo and here are my observations -

                1) Till now no vibes or buzz of any kind
                2) Pillion (wify) mentioned about the seat being comfier as compared to my previous P200, but the hard suspension setting did prompt of getting used.
                3) No indicators flashing unnecesarily, i.e. till now no Engine Oil low warning or any sort of warning lamps flashing as observed by some other members (figers crossed on that though)
                4) Since the first 500km is crucial for every component of the motorcycle, so treating everything like that, and till now no complains from brakes or rubber therefore.
                5) The brakes working amazingly well.
                6) Had false neutrals some times specially when trying to shift down the gears in a hurry. I'm guessing I'll NOT call that an issue as of yet as the motorcycle is too early in it's life and it deserves some slack here.
                7) Evironmental temparatures are quite pleasent and I guess therefore didn't had or felt heating issues as of yet. The engine heat that's the ankle or thigh is sometimes sensing is absolutely normal and expected from a new engine.
                8) I have very religiously adapted myself in not to use the horn and bring disgrace to the bike and myself.
                9) Took the bike past the motorcycle past 7k rpms a couple of times for not more 3-4 secs and went past 90 in a flash. One thing is for sure, this version of P200 has lesser engine braking than my previous P200, because once I closed the throttle at 90, it took ages to come down 55, which was not the case with my older machine.

More in a detailed ride review in sometime

P.S. : This is the only and hopefully the last time when I had to buy a motorcycle to review it
Twist your wrist and feel the shift!!

                My own thoughts - Throttle

Made the same mistake on saturday

But on a serious note, i am getting the oil warning every half hour. It vanishes when i switch off and restart the bike.
I got the bike on 9th (Thursday) have done around 400km.
I have asked this question before and got a reply that its a sensor issue..
but getting warnings this often??!! scares me each time it come on..

Another observation was the constant tingly vibration from the frame.. more like a cellphone buzzer :P

                    Anyone else facing similar issues?
Hope all is sorted out during first service

I don't think michellin is available for the sizes required for NS.
The cheapest prices I got were :

                            Pirelli Sport Demon :
                            Rear 130/70 : Rs. 3300
                            Front 110/70 (Duke's Size, not the usual 100/80) : Rs. 2700

                            MRF Zapper FX : 100/80 Rs. 1600
                            MRF Revz S : 130/70 Rs. 2400

These are the cheapest rates I got from Karol Bagh in Delhi.
