      hi to all NSians...
      this is my first post after buying my red ns on 1st aug..
      booked on 4th of april and got the first delivery in erode [t.n]
      I am a true follower of this site from day one when @chintan99 posted his first view of his bike....

      the first problem i noticed was monoshock sound....
      second problem was the rear disc sound.
      third problem was the handle bar tilted slightly towards right...

      i have gone to bajaj showroom nearly 10-11 times and have consistently told them about handle bar....but they said everything is all right...

      today i again argued with the main service man and gave him to correct it..hopefully they correct it...
      have not crossed 5.5k rpm till date and 1200kms on odo..
      at 6th gear one can easily touch 70-75 km/h....within 5.5k rpm

      so my question is open to all NSians
      please check your handle bar by tilting to each side.. i.e, to left and right and please reply if any tilt is present or not..
      you can esily check by placing your finger between the tank and handlebar tilted towards the side..

          I checked it!! Bike is tilting to left when we leave the handle bar! SVC guys know the solution! A slight fork adjustment is required! Will remind them to do it when I go for first service
          Its not the speed.....it is all about the skill !!!!

            hello i am following this thread from a long time......this is my first post
            i hav made the booking on 31st may...since then it was like a never ending wait...
            now after the launch in our least preffered metro city , i was unable to purchase it due to financial reason, otherwise i would hav been the first in kolkata to grab this masterpiece.....
            hopefully i will be getting this by monday......
            really this wait is killing me....

              Even i got confused with the same colours.. Ultimately i chose red and I am extremely Happy with it Thats why I said Red but i felt like you would have chosen yellow..

                  I forgot to mention the mileage in my previous post.

                  Before service i got 38.6 and after service 41.5
                  and as my bike was idling previously at 2.5k after a 10 minutes run(got it corrected now) , so I guess the mileage figure will be even better now..

Thats the irony...the whole time from Jan-July I was waiting for it to be launched and when it finally did, Im not there to collect it when my bike is waiting!!

                            One of my friends got his serviced at Kalyani Bajaj - he says they treat you like a VIP and the service is good too (preference for 200NS)

                            Even I had the monoshock sound.. got it fixed @SVC
                            rear disk sound is common, just go through the posts to find various solutions
                            Tilted?? really? Will check first thing tomorrow morning... its highly unusual, though i doubt it...

                                yes everybody knows about metiabruz; for instance ...the day bike launched in kolkata, i went to the showroom , being unable to purchase it by cash at that moment i decided to go for finance option..but the moment when i say that i live in metiabruz the person from the bazaz finance says : sorry we will not be financing your bike. dil to kiya saale ko wahi kat du......
