General question to all

Can we retrofit the FI into the 200ns?

1.18 Lacs @ ex-showroom price seems justified for Bajaj (FI+Fairing+LED Lamps), but to me it looks slightly at higher side, 1.18+tax, etc >1.30 Lacs (On-road) which I believe, for a non-ABS version it's little bit much to pay. So I wouldn't call RS200 a VFM as I did for 200NS. Will it really match up to RC200?. Let some reviews come...

The ex showrooom price before tax is 81737 and after tax is 92871 insurance is 87000 .... didnt make sense.

I had the problems like severe vibration going up an incline with a pillion, loss of power when ridden above 70 kmph. They adjusted the tappets and now the vibrations are gone but power loss is still there. Not to mention the noise the engine creates are high speed. Sounds like a lorry.

Please do let know the reasons for the vibes above 4000 rpm and what the svc people did to rectify it.

I used a Gear Cross Link Assembly (Tata Ace) Cost = 30/-

Measure the length of the link of the stock gear push rod. The final length of the above gear link needs to be shorter by a few mm to accommodate for the ball socket at both ends.

Cut the push rod to that length.
You either get the cut end threaded (Very difficult to get the lathe guy help you do it) or get it welded in the middle.

The final product will look like this

Now fix it to the levers

The push road can be rotated clock wise to bring the levers closer i.e the foot peg moves up or anticloclkwise to move the levers further apart ie bring the foot peg lower..

                                Customization
                                Smooth gear shifts
just curious to know ,what dimension did u cut it ??
