The halogen 90/100W 4300k bulb can be used in the ns? no mods required? what about the heat it generates?
I am looking out to increase the visibility and range but not willing to invest in projector and HID setups. Please suggest.

        Thank you for the reply

        between 4-4.5 rpm economy - 42
        between 3.5-4 rpm economy - 47~48
        between 4.5 - 5 rpm economy - 37~35 and sometimes 32 for higher rpms.

i dont think this is normal.

and yes as u said the bike starts without any problem when the engine is cold during the coldest of days too just have to give little throttle and idles at 1.15 rpm steadily.
I think the bike is running rich with less idle rpm. I need to get it fixed. I am not able to find any good mech/ass near my area (i.e, e city bangalore) I am tired of the mechs and ass guys telling that "sir you will get a milege of 35 to 40 only" I am planning to tune the carb and experiment myself.

I am having tough time reaching the carb, can any one guide me on how to do it? help would be much appreciated guys.

Hi guys, is it possible to fit projector light of AS on NS without much modification? or will it need any changes? Me too thinking of going for HID/Bixenon for my NS.. please suggest.

Exactly. Relay and ceramic holder, thats all. For the relay's supply, take a thick wire straight from battery, with a 20A fuse.

You will need a ceramic holder for the bulb, and a relay which supplies current direct from the battery. Use a thick wire and 20A fuse. The present H/L beam connections will be used for switching the relay.

You can just remove the present bulb and fit in a 100/90, but you definitely will not get the light output as the relay wiring.

Tuning: with the engine warm after a short run, or after 10 mins on idle, turn the idle adjustment knob and set rpm to 2000. On the right side of carb (ie same side as idle adjustment) look for a brass screw facing sideways. That is the mixture adj. screw. Slowly turn it clockwise (like tightening the screw). Engine rpm may rise or drop a little, don't mind. At one point while turning the screw, engine rpm drops quickly. That is the point where you stop turning. If you turn beyond this, you will have lean mixture, idling may be erratic

Edit: turn idle back to 1400rpm or so ( just below the 1.5 mark)

i dont think so because AS has longer headlight setup than NS.

Well I have a ls2 lunatic same as phobia just pattern change.
I got mine from flipkart during offer from 3k.
It is absolutely genuine. have seen cheap copies.
the fit will be tight for some time..and eventually it'll be proper. Just try avoiding the dark tinted ones as they can't and should not be used for night riding.
I am in Bangalore and 30 mins of riding in daytime makes you sweat a lot.
For long rides it can actually give you a stiff neck as it weighs a good amount.

                          Hey friends,

                          Clocked 6k odd km.

I feel envy of you all here posting mileage of above 30.
                          I know it's not a splendor and I don't expect it to return 50 60 or something.

I have got it checked from all the khivraj ass in Bangalore.
They have tuned the carb, checked slide, afr ,diaphragm, cleaned carb, all the things still no help.

It still returns only 25kmpl. I know it's not my riding style causing the issue as I ride my friends ns as well and it returns 44kmpl dot.

My bike has trouble starting after I have parked it for a couple of hours(engine cold).
I rev it up for some time and then it runs well few kms. then suddenly it just dies.
It happens even in traffic and sometimes it can be very dangerous. Recently a traveller touched my right foot peg cause it died in traffic.

Sometimes I hear a "thuk" sound and it feels that engine from right side is shutting down and if I rev it it becomes normal.

The gear gets stuck when trying to drop a few gears at once. I need to press half clutch and then nly it drops. doesn't drop when clutch is pressed completely
And shifting from 1st to 2nd the neutral is never skipped .

All the mechanics say it's normal in 200ns but I know it isn't could someone pls pls help me sort all the problems.

I changed to motul 5100 some 90km ago.
Bike is smooth but all this problems

                              Visor quality is excellent.
Dropped it from 1 feet height and visor is scratched badly.
                              Inside padding excellent.
                              Overall quality 4/5.
                              Weighs around 2kg I suppose.
