      UPDATE:

LED headlights are good, 3 LEDs are white and bright but will loose out to the oncoming yellow lights. good for city use.

Tuning - tightened the vc screw fully and then turned 2.25 outside. now the engine seems smooth and less noisy, no significant change in the low end but top end is reduced, accel past 7 K RPM is sluggish. will try to tune again tomo as per Krixna's guide.

Speedo is unstable. will show false readings. failed cable ?

      any thoughts guys?

White will wash out in yellow lights and even in too dark areas .. Optimum light temp is 4300k provides best visibility and spread ..

Bikes gives very harsh sound as compared to my friend's ns with so crisp sound. What could be the issue ?

Check your engine oil and air filter.

Bro have a complete check over the engine, because it could be with
                  1. Spark plugs
                  2.oil
                  3.air filter
                  4.wrong ratio in the carburetor
                  5.even check your chain sprocket

Air - fuel mixture going wrong is the main reason. You will have bad mileage too.

Also in my previous post, I had said that the bike was ridden with choke on all the time, but it was not.

Actually I saw the bike early morning and bought the bike after riding pillion, just to check any noise. He had the choke on for cold morning. It's only I, who ride the bike all the way to home with choke on.
Don't do it without prior knowledge. It's a open\adjust-tune-adjust\close task, period. You are opening the engine head, you need tools which may not be available at ur area. If you are stuck in between, you can't even put your bike back. Any wrong\improper adjustment can even worsen the things. If you find none of the workshops in your locality are good, try going to nearby city. I see ur location, you can just take it Tiruchi and find a good service point. Call them before you take. I hope you should be able to do it. A ~100km trip, isn't hard to ride for a bike of this type. Don't try any DIY without any prior exp, I wouldn't do that if I were you.

I have put FX1 100/80 r17 on the front ( Stock tyres for new FZ)
and for the rear i wanted zapper S 130/70 but due to unavailabilty i went for REVZ S 130/70
How ever both are doing great job in wet and dry both. The cornering becomes very precise and confident.

With the correct air pressure, that's the best cornering setup for NS!

Thanks Mr.jbm_guy. I'm a college student. Only weekend leaves. Have to wait for the semester to get over.
I have disassembled and reassembled the cylinder head of the old pulsar 200 Dtsi. Anyhow, I will take it to trichy. Thanks again

Guys! Very quick question. I have an Oct 14 Pulsar 200NS, 6.7ks done. I use Motul. Few days back, I found oil seeping from the engine oil cap. I changed the engine oil cap, but the seepage is still there. Anyone faces the same issue and has any remedy? Sorry, if you guys discussed this earlier and I missed the discussion. Waiting for you answers!

                                Thanks very much!
