Motul engine oil can be sourced from the shops in JC road, if not there then in lal bagh road near urvashi theatre.
Regarding the service centre..Popular Bajaj in Koramangala.. they do a good job and reliable. they are open on sundays too.

To check wear & tear of the pads, you need not open the caliper unit. It can be inspected without opening as well.Originally posted by rohanm123 View PostHow can they bill me for break pad replacement additionally when they already had to remove the break pads and check for wear (General Service) which just had the new break pad put in that place?
If it was opened, then it was due for replacement i guess. How new those pads were and what were your braking habits i don't know.
These are general labour costs which everyone has to pay and will be charged per part. General service is fixed and you will be charged extra for any additional work.
Cost of labour and parts with Bajaj are very reasonable as per my opinion.sigpic

Dude, Engine oil, filter, brake fluid, spark plug stuffs can be replaced by all mechanics without much hype. All you need to do is be there with your bike and make sure he is doing it clean fit and finish. And ofcourse they charge very less. But don't leave your bike.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I travelled 300 kms from my hometown just to visit this place.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostThat's cool Dude. A visual treat. Lucky you. Here in my place, I can't find a ghat unless I travel at least 350kms +. Hope you had the riding gears and the helmets. Share more pictures if possible. Thanks
But that is worth every km. Rain god has blessed this place and the best experience of monsoon one can get here. About riding gear.. I have Tornado Pro jacket and DSG Motomesh Gloves, Steelbird Helmet serves the purpose, got a pair of Bacca Bucci steel toe shoes from flipkart. Hats off the Rynox Tornado pro as not even a single drop went inside and I was dry upto my home. Here are some pics of me and my ride.
Couldn't click more pics as it was raining heavily up there.Last edited by Himanshu Patel; 07-23-2015, 10:25 PM.

Auto service is good option unless any major problem which I didn't experienced. They have 7100 only. If you want 5100 you can get it from nearby auto spare parts shop. I easily got nearby auto service itself. So no problem.

jbm_guy :
yes i know simple things can be done by a local mechanic ..
I did talk to or atleast tried to one nearby since i dont know the local language.. Its hard to converse with anyone here . and plus he was very rude in talking and showed no interest to do the work so left it ..
No panga with locale's 🙈
Where as on the other hand the bajaj svc in kengri upnagar ..service manager there was polite and friendly when i enquired about the spares and service.. Even though they didn't service ns.. he didnt rudely shrug of questions i asked ..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Cool..Very nice indeed. 350Kms +(one-way) is bit hard for me to take (considering my physical condition) at least for a day trip. The longest I've tripped is 220km (up&down) and when I was back to home, i almost couldn't feel my butt and felt sore, and some shoulder aches. Well, that's just me. However a day stay should be fine for such longer distances. BTW, the gears are good, and did you buy it online?. If yes, how was the experience and delivery, etc?. Right now what I have is some hardcore jerkin which is good for rain\sun but doesn't have much protection. Im planning for one around a budget of 7-8k.Originally posted by Himanshu Patel View PostI travelled 300 kms from my hometown just to visit this place.

Well yeah. That's the trouble with local workshop fellas. Sometimes they get well and sometimes don't. I had a similar experience when I had discover. The guy stole some petrol and denied of that, and had to fight with him. Service station is good in such cases but charge a bit more. When we buy a lac+ bike, shouldn't worry much on the service cost.
But trust me, a good local workshop guy might overhaul cleverly and charge less.
