True that .. a happy bunny on a beast !!Originally posted by xplod566 View Post1) CO level is used to check how accurate is your tuning.for 200bs it should be 1.5-2.5 although 1.6 is a good value for a performance bike.so gk there and just tell them to set it at 1.6.You will be a happy bunny after that.
2)Yes .they put a measuring pile inside the exhaust hole and then measure it on comp.its pretty accurate
3)Tachometer is good but CO is the best.I have seen tuning by measuring CO level gives me the correct tuning.
4)There is nothing as default settings for CO.it should lie within 1.5 to 2.5.yes you can try 2.15 if it gives u good power and mileage then all is good
Thanks bro... really appreciate the insight

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
They (RedLinePlus.in Automotive Products Web Store - RedLinePlus.in Web Shop) offers gel seat on trial - but you have to contact them. The DIY gel seat costs Rs.2500 and they only charge a little more for their experience to fit. The sad part is that you have to either let them buy a seat from service center, modify it and send or you have to send your seat to them. Either way it a pain.Originally posted by kany1991 View Post2.5k for gel [emoji15]
Better to use foams on seat it will cost u only 300rs [emoji6] [emoji6] [emoji6]
However very recently they have launched a version of gel seat which can be tied to the seat underneath so that it can be removed at will and need not worry about theft when parked on public places as it does not attract any attention. Very unfortunately they say they need a P200 in their workshop for taking dimensions.
Just wondering whether any Pune based P200-ian can offer this help? Based on the reply, I will share the rest of the details.
Thanks.

This is my review on the redline plus site.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostThrottle Assist Wrist Support | eBay
A needy thing, which I never have seen across so far. Very useful on long distance rides. I found these cheaper in ebay.in than redline, which is very costly. I have ordered one, free delivery. Let me update once I get it fit
Also guys, anyone who has fit these gels for seats, please share some experience. The cost is high, is it really worth the price?. Currently I feel iron butt after an hour ride on my bike.
Good accessory - makes the driving more of pleasure.
Ordered and received the throttle assist. The first impressions before buying was that the cost seems to be hefty for such a small component the price of around Rs.430 inclusive of all seems to be high. The product quality that I received is good, though did not have the 'monster' logo as shown in the picture. The piece was not having any logo or words to identify. When I searched online I found many are even more expensive, but found one in www.gadgetstuff.in for Rs.100 less. I opted for buying through Redline as it seems they are clear in their policies and that brought me confidence with them.
Coming to the product, it is a huge relief to right arm; this is very useful even for short rides and even in cities. By using this with bare hand, I was able to have all my fingers on the brake lever and at the same time manage to operate the throttle very easily and smoothly. Without this, I use to achieve the same by using my index and middle finger for the brakes and remaining for the throttle which is in par little difficult and less safe. With gloves, the presence of this throttle assist even more enhances the ride. I wonder why all motorcycle manufacturers did not come up with this as stock option. Though priced little bit on higher side, this is a mandatory accessory whether you drive for commute or for pleasure.

Thanks bro for you inputs. At first I thought about safety, but then quickly some of my long rides reminded me about how painful my wrist was when keeping the wrist twisted all those hours?. I really hope this will be helpful for relieving wrist pains and also help placing the fingers ready on brakes.Originally posted by Narayanan View PostThey (RedLinePlus.in Automotive Products Web Store - RedLinePlus.in Web Shop) offers gel seat on trial - but you have to contact them. Whilst I was browsing over the web for throttle assist, I came across with one ebay seller from Pune(I guess). He replied it is in good quality. However for a price of 250/- what can we expect?, but still hoping it will be a bit useful. Will share once I receive with full pictures.
Meanwhile, do you have any idea of buying the gel pack?. I too saw that. If it was a bit cheaper, could've ordered instantly without worries. For about 3K, it makes me think a lot. Wondering if it can be well tied up under seat using the Velcro straps. Provided, it should not be stolen as it would look odd when parked outside on public points.

There are basically many options to have a gel seat:
Get the stuff yourself from Redline and do it yourself or take it to a lining shop and get it done. A YouTube video "KTM 200 Duke Gel Pad Seat Modification" shows how to do it for a KTM 200 which is similar but not same as per the Redline. Since I do not have that patience and the cost savings is not much I did not opt for this.
Strap on gel seat - which can be removed after every ride and taken with you. This is a viable option that will also help us to use it on any other bike. However this requires a pain of taking it with you after parking. Since I neither have a box to lock it not carry a shoulder bag always, I did not opt for this method.
Strap on gel seat - type 2 - which can be removed from the seat only after removing the seat off the bike. Again this is not preferred as it will attract unnecessary attention when parked in public places and notorious vandals can scratch with a blade.
Recently Redline came with an option to tie the gel seat under the original seat and this does not offer any visual difference which will not attract attention. As of now I am planning for this, but Redline says they do not have the design ready as of now.
As of now I am torn between option 2 and option 4.
I feel 3k is still cheap when compared with the back pain that I might get after commuting a lot. I am determined to buy it as in my view safety first, comfort next and looks comes last. I do not mind to spend 3k for this when I can afford to spend ~1.1k for the machine.Last edited by Narayanan; 10-16-2015, 01:59 PM.

Very well written. Would also be a great work if you have some other stories of your travelogue to shareOriginally posted by GauravD View Post
WOW !!! What a journey it has been since February 2015. Why ? 4th Feb 2015 was the day I took delivery of my beast, my NS. It was a lovely ride for a month and then disaster struck. I was involved in an accident which left my left index finger distal area useless and had to be amputated. The beast was shackled and caged. Every morning I used to walk to him and sit with him and he used to stare at me with that pitiful look to let him loose. My folks could well see that I was not at all happy not being with him and used to console me saying it was only a matter of time – smart enough not to say how much
Days passed ever so slowly with me yearning to crank him up and ride away … Fast forward to June 2015
So you have met with an accident and had to let go of your finger?. That's really bad mate. Sorry about that...!!! Hope you have overcome that. Can you elaborate the scenario what happened (if you aren't emotional) so that it can help others here to maybe prepared or be cautious...!!!
Also can't believe that you stored your NS for 3 months without any storage preparations?. That's just awesome and gained some respect....!!!
Ride safe bro...!!!

Okay, I too had the same thought. I too think it this way. I know a place here where they do seat covers and staple it well. Actually I have applied a normal black seat cover in my NS for rider section. Now I can ask them if I get this gel to them ,whether they can fit it or not. Also I don't worry about seats looking loose fit or so. End of the day I need comfort. Taking her long for hours put my butt and those section real bad, sometimes getting numbness too... This looks like a good solution. Thanks for sharing. But somehow sending the seat to them to get it fit (From Chennai to Pune) isn't something possible for me. So I'd follow this rather.Originally posted by Narayanan View Post

Looks good and hope you are having a good high speed rides then....
By the way, is this AS200 wind shield?. It does look so...!!! By the way, why have you fixed the screws the other way (pointing outwards). How hard it was to fit and AS200 wind shiled?. How did you get one?, I've been trying for 2 months but couldn't get one...!!!
And where did you get the engine guard?
