Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Looks good. How does it handle the real strength of the wind when you are on the highway. Have you checked are there any rattling sound coming from somewhere. Very good if not a real good deal to get this set for a friend of mine what was the cost of this could you please share here if possible.Originally posted by Mohankumar Bruiser View Postclick me

Agreed its an Indian rattlesnakeOriginally posted by santo View PostI have done de-carboonization @20k kms on odo, anyway I was not completly satisfied with the way it was done (they spray something from a aerosol can while keeping the engine running in compression chamber) However the high rev nature of engine and as we all know it's Indian rattle snake(engine vibrations) I think the tappet setting is must @30-40k or at least a check besides listening engine noise one need to check imo
My ns have both rattling frame and vibrations[emoji28] [emoji28] [emoji28]

You can expect slight improvements with wind shield. Instead, another option is use your loaded bad tied on to tank. I was able to manage upto 110 kph without a big deal on open roads. It helped a lot from the wind that pounding my chest most of the time.Originally posted by arjunb25 View PostLooks good. How does it handle the real strength of the wind when you are on the highway. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My ns frame doesn't vibrate. But when I hug the tank I can feel the vibrations spreading across. So I avoid hugging the tank. Also vibrations are a bit there at low gears and going above, at high speeds in higher gears, the vibrations seem to be a bit less except for a mild massager type emanating from handle bards and footpegs. Using a heavy boot and glove helps a lot here. Now all I'm going to need is that throttle assist and a seat gel.Originally posted by kany1991 View PostAgreed its an Indian rattlesnake

oh, great. Though the negatives, you have also got the royalty and exclusivity (still we do, but less) and finally more head turnsOriginally posted by kany1991 View PostM having 12's 1st batch ns and they vibrates a lot [emoji19] and ya boots and gloves helpd a lot in reducing vibration

, compared to recent batched like mine. It's worth it. yea, hope a gel seat and windshield can make my ride even sweeter.
After riding for 70 minutes continuously non-stop covering 92Kms @ 110-120 90% in NH except for toll. End of the upward journey, I felt almost I've had a full body massage and especially when I got down, I felt a kind of stumble and a bit shivering on legs. It lasted for several minutes. One another reason was poor seat, made a bit of numbness because of the mild vibrations. This might not be severe for smaller rides, but rides longing at high speeds more than hours continuously is killing.
Well, though the vibrations are very less(not like shaky or krrr sound), but on continuous rides at 110+ for prolonged time, gives a mid massaging vibrations and at the end it gives some fatigue and tired. Maybe if I had taken a break in between once, it might not had been that troublesome.
But it is the money which finally settles the debate here...!!!
Most of us, give up NVH for rupees and Bajaj knows this pretty well..!!! But next time sure, I'm not falling for that pray. If I don't get money, I don't rather buy and just wait for good ones.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Rarely in some cases, more money /= better NVH (not equal) for example RE bikes. You pay more about 2L+, but still you get poor NVH for the huge money you spent. I'd not comment on Duke390, the NVH values are ook...but comparing with CBR250, not close enough. CBR250 is a bliss to ride, but poor riding posture, sporty.Originally posted by Saurabh Umadikar View PostWell..!! Whats your perspective against money and NVH?
Which will be your first concern and why?
When I choose 200NS, money was also my first concern along with acceptable NVH levels and comfort riding, and yes 200NS did fit my requirements perfectly. Though seats are poor with stiff suspension. But after getting into riding, taking long rides at good speeds, initially it was okay, but days and months pass by, my soul started asking for even better ones and asked little more comfort
and now I just couldn't resist. Hence kept one eye locked to Mojo. unfortunately Mojo has failed to impress (cost and service wise). At 2 Lac on-road, why would I want to prefer a single pot again?, forget speed or performance. I expected it around 1.5-1.7 Lac
Now if you ask me to spend as much as 2 Lac+ again on a single mill with no ABS, I'd seriously say NO and would save some money and grab something of a 2 cylinder mode. In a year or so, we should get some products and meanwhile I can save some money and will get settled for some good touring bikes like GStorm 250 (based on failure model Inazuma). I'm having high hopes on this and with that, my bike desires will settle for sure, because anything more than a quarter liter is an overkill for Indian roads and Indians and hope you are aware that all bikes above 125cc should have ABS as default fit by 2017, now isn't this a good news?
.....!!!
Let's keep waiting. Till then, NS will be enough to satisfy

Another thing I'd do is remove those tail lamps and logo Pulsar (I actually hate that. Sorry if it hurts Pulsar fans). Bajaj now onward should start some new names instead of carrying Pulsar all along. But that's my opinion. I'd like to appear distinct from other bikes (esp Pulsar) and 200NS does that exactly except for that logo and tail lamps.Last edited by jbm_guy; 10-21-2015, 12:31 PM.

Need URGENT Help Regarding Buying a used NS 200
I got a 2014 model blue ns running 12k kms for 68k RS from olx .
We both the seller and me agreed the price and i will settle money by end of this week
But when i asked about the documents he told me that NOC has been expired and his bike is in finance ( though he closed it ) . But getting new NOC and finance update in RC book by about 12-15 days quoted by the seller . He told me that he will complete the ownership transfer and send the documents to me .

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Probably you should add the condition of the road (I guess you are mentioning Chennai Bypass). There are no pot holes as such and the road is good for less speeds. But the top layer of tarmac which had melted and caused deformation. This is kind of continuous battering and is pronounced with higher speed. I am unable to drive past 80 kmph and it gets unpleasant. There are some stretches which are flat and still I could manage only 95kmph on that stretches.Originally posted by jbm_guy View Post... I actually enjoy the this stretch of Vandalur-Kelambakkam road where the road is smooth, remains as dual carriageway and I can at last enjoy the ride. But alas, it only lasts for few short moment.

Re: Need URGENT Help Regarding Buying a used NS 200
Be very clear about the legal aspect . Presently the vehicle is owned by the finance company and seller has no right to sell it . Careful examination of registration book shall also reveal this . Pay only after the bike is registered in your name and you have got the registration book / papers to this effect .Originally posted by Vaisakh2778 View PostI got a 2014 model blue ns running 12k kms for 68k RS from olx .We both the seller and me agreed the price and i will settle money by end of this week But when i asked about the documents he told me that NOC has been expired and his bike is in finance ( though he closed it ) .
