Looks good and hope you are having a good high speed rides then....
By the way, is this AS200 wind shield?. It does look so...!!! By the way, why have you fixed the screws the other way (pointing outwards). How hard it was to fit and AS200 wind shiled?. How did you get one?, I've been trying for 2 months but couldn't get one...!!!

And where did you get the engine guard?
The Screw Have been fit the other way, coz if it was made pointing inwards, then the tails of the screw wud have poked and scratched the inner visor. (the original one of NS). Also it wouldnt Have Been a proper fit as well.

Luckily found the AS windsheild here in Kolkata!! I too Am surprised to Have found it!!

Engine guard is of Dukes one!

So you have met with an accident and had to let go of your finger?. That's really bad mate. Sorry about that...!!! Hope you have overcome that. Can you elaborate the scenario what happened (if you aren't emotional) so that it can help others here to maybe prepared or be cautious...!!!

Also can't believe that you stored your NS for 3 months without any storage preparations?. That's just awesome and gained some respect....!!!
      Ride safe bro...!!!
      Thanks bro.

Nothing emotional about it. Bad things happen in life. It was so that happened on that fateful night... ok forget it I'll not get melodramatic LOL.

I was cleaning the bike chain rotating the tyre with one and wiping the chain with the other after a kerosene wash. what happened was that I did not notice that one end of the any way short cloth I was using had gotten entangled in the sprocket. The next turn I made and my finger went right into the sprocket. Thank God for God's clotting mechanism did not lose any blood, just a few drops since the vessels self sealed up. Since I was alone at home I casually picked up the car keys and drove down with one hand ... (I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THAT EVER TO ANYONE). Got an operation done and grafts from the middle finger were used to recreate the tip of the index finger. By that time my folks had come down and I got quite an earful about not to practice DIY, little do they know the sense of belonging it brings. BTW its not the whole finger I lost buddy, thanks heavens for that, it was just the top 1 cm of finger (till the nail bed) which got separated.

Underwent a second operation two weeks later for seperation of the graft and then it was the ridiculously long wait for the healing and the physio. But in the end all turned out pretty well. The place where the graft was taken from is also filling up pretty well.

Was in bandage for the next cpl of months, regular visits to the doc and in June he finally told me - get on your bike and get your @$$ outta here. Man those were the word I was waiting to hear since I had been eating his head up as to when would I be able to ride again. But I was not able to ride immediately, went through 5 sessions of laser physio, got the strength and mobility back aided by finger exercises with a smiley ball and I am smiling till date.

And yeah did not get the time to make do any preperations, asked my folks to get a bike cover and with one hand covered my best myself making sure that everything was covered well. Did not deflate the tyres nor did I pull out the battery terminals although I made sure to grease them 3 months later.

All in all, an experience I would pray to God no one ever goes through.

ADVICE - Get a damn brush to clean the chain if you go the DIY route. LOL. I have

Boss so you are saying basically that you have fixed the AS shield on top of that of the NS ???

Yes. If I remove The original NS sheild, then there leaves a wide gap between the AS visor And the inside electricals. Can't take that risk on a big tour to keep that part open

The nail broke in middle, lucky enough to pull out the finger otherwise the result may have been worst.

GUYS PLEASE KEEP ATTENTION WHILE YOU DO THE CHAIN CLEANING AND DO NOT PUT BIKE IN GEAR AND ENGINE RUNNING EVER, YOU WON'T HAVE A FINGER TO WRITE YOUR EXPERIENCE[emoji6]

Glad that you r OK and back on your ride.

I too am a DIY guy. and while cleaning twice i had these close calls. Once the Brush went in, and the other time the tip of the Oil bottle got the bite!!

Now i do not do it any more with the Engine ON. Rotate the wheels only by hand movement.

Thank God, that i learned the lesson with the Brush and the Oil Bottle taking the pain

true bro.. rotate only by hand and in the opposite direction as if you are reversing your bike... risk mitigated

Yes brothers be very careful while cleaning chain and never ever start the bike.
I learned this lesson a hard way,
In 2010 these DIY was new thing to me and one day thought of cleaning bike's chain and then started the bike and engaged 4th gear at idle and tyre was spinning pretty fast, then i rubbed a cloth on chain and suddenly it went into rear sprocket along with my middle finger,
Don't know how bike stopped and i was screaming in pain as finger was still stuck in chain and sprocket.
Brother came and removed by rotating tyre backward.

Finger nail and upper portion was cut from centre,
Took 4 months and a surgery to recover.

So be very careful while doing chain cleaning.
Even today nail is not normal ..

Bike's chain was very loose which saved finger otherwise meri ungli tundi ho jaati.

Right now Mojo seems to be a better bid for comfort and long cruising compared to RE. But pricing of Mojo keeps it few step backwards. I think you guys are aware, it costs ~1.9L on road
