Though he totaled his ride and that only gave a clear idea of how fast he was ..
I have seen a lot of P220 guys trying to show off against NS by driving harsh and risky. Two days back, I was on freeway driving on little to moderate traffic @ 90kmph. I saw one p220 chasing me long way back. and WTH..!!!, wont they learn?. I sped a bit to 105kmph and still he was trying to overpass me...(No riding gear\helmet\no shoes even). Then I had to let that jerk pass me as he completely blocked my path by overtaking me and put me behind a car...Thanks, NS gives us the flexibility to cut through even at high speeds.

Lesson learnt : Never try to prove yourself. Let go these maniacs (Esp some P220 and R15).
Riding gear : Wear helmet and atleast minimal riding suit (Shoes\Jeans)

And for you, get well soon Bro...!!! and hope your bike has not suffered anything other than these cosmetic\chassis damages.

      Hi guys,

I just crossed 600 mark on my one month old NS, wanted to share the experience with fellow mates. Its been darn difficult restraining yourself from going above 4k rpm, but up till now have been patient enough to do so, hopefully the patience will last another 500 kms

Ok, now about the bike -

NS is way smoother than previous dtsi version (owned one earlier) and relatively makes very less noise. Gear shifting has improved a lot but yes i do get lots of false neutrals, expecting them to go away after first service (will be done in a day or two).
Handling is pretty good but the turning radius indeed feels larger than the earlier version. And man, this bike has amazing power. In city traffic, recently due to some disturbing elements I had to immediately race up to 80+ speed and the transition from nominal speed of 40 to 80+ was so fluid like and powerful, i just simply fell in love with this bike all over again
Fortunately in my case the fan did ran once, so phew!......(if you are following this thread, you know what i mean ) . So far, it has been a really good ride and expecting it to go notches above that

      keep Riding!

      Edited - removed duplicate post.

Completed 3300 kms on the ODO. Had changed the oil at around 600kms. So the new Bajaj oil has run for approx 2700kms... I think its running out of its life as for the first time i have started feeling vibes between 5k n 7k rpm on the handle bar.. The gears get stuck sometimes only between 1st n 3rd.. And the sound of engine while idling changes while i press clutch.. I guess oil change should solve these issues. Have been lubing the chain about every 500 kms already so will be buying a new lube. Guys Pl suggest if I need to do anything else as well. This would be the 2nd service..

Its 6500+ on my NS in 11 months almost!
            Done with 2 services.
I changed oil manually at 4500 kms to Castrol Activ 20w50.
My NS is feeling a bit laggy and is not showing the punch that it had earlier.
Experiencing a very sluggish throttle response.
            what could be the reason?

Isn't the oil you've used recommended for cars? I haven't seen bike engine oil in 20w50 from castrol. Could be clutch slipping due to car engine oil..
