    After this topic i did little math on this. Not sure though.

    I usually drive 7 days with 500rs petrol. If i consider only 6 days, 44kms*6 days-->264kms/7ltr ==>37.7 kmpl.

    I guess it has got something to do with petrol brand and quality of it also. What you guys think?

      Any other simple idea?
      Because I was thinking of having rim tape applied but without a stand I don't think I would be able to apply it or get it applied from market. [emoji52]

        Highway 60-80kmph-35kmpl

        I spend around 3000rs for petrol every month.

          There is one idea. I did it before I got the centre stand, trust me. You can keep a wooden plank under the silencer and use a small jack, like the Maruti 800's. The silencer is firmly bolted on the body, dont worry. WARNING: somebody should be holding the bike full time and the jack should be placed along the direction of the bike, not across. Do at your own risk. Better idea: get a stand for 600 bucks

                Shoot ,engine oil just died today .
                Was riding a lot these days at high revs So didn't noticed that poor motul 3100 gold has done 3000kms without a hitch .
                As soon as bike on this oil hit 3001 ..vibes ,harshness ,gear shift problem altogether came. Gosh tomorrow going to change oil asap.need to buy oil filter and ring from svc.
                Just a cost calculation .
                Motul 3100 gold-> 300₹/litre.
                Required
                1200ml.
                So cost of one fill-> 300+60₹=360₹
                (1.2ml bajaj dtsi crap costs 473₹ ).
                Lets add all costs
                Cost of oil filter > 78₹.
                So total engine oil change hit> 360+78=438₹.
                Haaa, cost of maintenance of Ns is lower than many other 150cc bikes.

                  Hey, how does the 3100 gold fare in comparison with the other motul variants such as the 5100 & 7100?

                    It's just a matter of daily run.
                    If your bike does 30km daily, then I don't find it justifiable to buy 7100 ,you may try 5100 but to me both performed same and well(I ride in really high revs).
                    Only if you ride 50kms daily then you may choose 5100 or 7100 but
                    5100 in summer.
                    7100 in winter.
                    For guys doing 30kms. And less per day it is better to
                    Spend 360₹(motul 3100)twice ,cover 6000kms on two timed New oil than
                    To spend~ 700₹{motul 5100) or around 900₹[motul 7100) and stretch it for 6 months covering the same 6000kms on a single oil.

                        Hey guys, any idea how much should the left rear signal cost? I found mine hanging by the wire today morning. It's working but I was not able to fit it back to its place. I asked bajaj mechanic and he said wil have to replace, and it will cost rs 150. Is the price correct?
