2nd Mileage report

Hi guys,

My 2nd mileage report:

Method : tankfull to tankfull
Fuel Used: Shell (normal)
Kms travelled : 436.2 kms
Fuel : 11.5 ltrs
Mileage : 37.93 km/lt

PS: have been riding quite hard...

BTW. I got first approximate mileage figures:

Method: Reserve to Reserve.
Riding conditions: 80% city ride. 10% highway, 10% very very bad virtually no road - 1st and second gear only. I ride mostly from 40-60 (in city if possible. rest is traffic riding

). Short bursts to 70-80 for few seconds. Have a habit of quickly shifting to higher gears. I kill engine on signals to even for 10seconds.

Petrol: Shell super 8.5 ltrs
Kms: 390 kms
Mileage: ~46kmpl

Not bad at all. I am 760km on ODO and 1st service is still due

. Hopefully after svc trip mileage will improve even further.

PS: I got LS2 Phobia for 2800 bucks from Laxmi auto, JM road, Pune.

use any oil you like,no one is barring you,just do it outside svc,btw i have done it in svc

too,but then the service guys were kinda friend of mine.

They are totally different bikes when it comes to ffeeel. Just because they both are naked doesn't make NS a copy of it. Stupid ppl

first they say it's a copy of 135 LS now fz

they are just jealous of NS guys

No buddy mine is red ,I stay near Kundanhalli . I have seen a yellow bumble bee in and around marathalli too ,wonder if its a Xbhpian .

I have already changed engine oil to Motul 3000 @ 370km

But the corporate world needs to be taught some values and principles.

Waiting for the few more short trips in such sexy weather of Bangalore...Love the ride in this weather..

I have seen many in my office..Accenture Whitefield..

All the colours but mine is unique since never seen a BLUE in my office yet..

And yes as Rahul correctly pointed out, it's Carbon Fiber stickering. However it's a bit different from the usual stickers and has a fabric like texture, which serves the purpose of tank grips, it's nice to touch as well.

@Rahuldevnath has pasted the carbon fibre decals on the lines of the tank curves. But if he levels the decal to match the Black plastic part, then some portion below the curve would remain Yellow, which might be a Eyesore from the front.

@RD, great job.. The decals look striking over Yellow. Guess it won't look as good on Red.

I have actually adjusted the the the side cut to the black panel. It was tough because the cut had to be done freehand, but it does look good now. Infact I have added the carbon fiber look to remaining part of the design, will post a pic.

250 bucks for the sheets, and did it at home, a DIY!

Has anyone tried to install the sump guard from the KTM duke on to the NS. I was noticing that the area under the radiator is almost similar to the duke, hence was wondering if at all it is possible to fix it to the NS (even if by doing some jugaad).

What is the cost of the sump guard BTW?

You are talking about the belly pan, right? Normally it's not possible to fit one on 200NS, but yeah, jugaads are always there!
