I have removed the hugger and saree guard, since it was not raining here in Pune since last many days,, and unfortunately from the next day itself it started raining again... it sprays very small small drops of mud water on tail lights, rear seat(half of my rear seat is covered with muddy water), pillion back , lil even on riders back nd lower portion of hemlet... and dont ask about the under portion of the seat nd mono suspension n al.. thinking to put it back again but don't have the allen screw driver..need to go to SVC again...

There is room only enough to lower it by 2-3 notches ( the notches =the grooves on the clamp on where shifter is connected to ) hope u get what I m referring to :P additionally you can mark the default positon on the clamp holder just to get the idea

ATGATT! There are many wonderful riders/drivers out there who would intrude in your riding space without any notice. Be prepared. Stay Safe.

Yes, the gear shifts will become smoother, but they should be butter smooth by 1000kms on odo. Also, the gear shifter travel is much more on 200NS, however, this provides a much better feedback of gear shifts.

Can someone tell me if the Air Filter is different from the old generation Pulsars? I will be installing a K&N Air filter for my Pulsar 200NS. I am just curious and thinking ahead.
Air filter is totally different from other pulsar's and gaint too... i installed conical shape k&n air filter directly on carburetor after removing air filter... it's pow! when you accelerate!

Hey speedshift, from where did you get the rim tapes. Online or from a local shop.

Yesterday had gone to Karol Bagh with a friend with his bike, so i checked for rim tapes but the charges were pretty high for reflective ones - around Rs.800 though i only checked in one shop.

Planning to get the floroscent green for my bike.

price-rs.2450(got this @the lowest price thanks to rahul barik)
and the shop returned 500rs for the stock tyre and 80rs is the fitting charge.
                        total cost=Rs.{2450-500+80+20(tip)}
                        =Rs.2050
                        ride fast but not harsh

WOW, I dont know why, but the tyres lok beefier than than the stock. Might be delusional And the white rim tapes also looks good.

BTW, heard something about the fuel knob.. Got it sorted??

But since I still have not got the Regn No, so have to restrict our fun in the locality itself. now, after a short ride, decided to do something about the http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/help-me/...r-200ns-2.html problem.
Came back, and read a saved article of tuning the AFR screw from my lappy. Again took DESTINY for a Spirited ride, so as to make her hot. Made her stand with the engine on, and adjusted the idle screw to 1.5k. Now took a screw driver to turn the AFR screw clockwise direction to make it a little richer. And VOILA!!!!!!!!!, Destiny now rolls off with just a slight twist of the throttle.

Thanks to @Rahuldevnath for uploading the picture locating the AFR screw, and also suggesting that the problem could be becoz of AFR being leaner.
Also thanks to @Rahulbarik as he suggested over phone to make just SLIGHTEST turn of the AFR screw.

So friends, if any of u gonna try it,
                              1) make sure the engine is hot.
                              2) For AFR screw - If u take 100 points to be a full screw rotation, the turn just 5/100. (i.e. the slightest turn possible) The screw turns very easily, and u dont have to apply any force. So keep your eyes and ears wide open. Turn Clockwise direction to make the AFR richer.

CAUTION - It is not recommended to fiddle with the AFR screw, untill your bike has scored 10k kms (My DESTINY is just 22kms). Also, guys with no experience of this, better not try this alone. (My 1st time)

                              Another pic of DESTINY's rear
                              hi Shibadip,

Thanks for detailing the process. very simple.

My query - you first adjusted the idle screw to 1500 rpm and then turned the AFR clockwise like 5/100 (as you say it). So when you did this did the rpm increase? if so then by how much and after doing this did you re-adjust the idle screw?
