    2) (the way i look at it) just go for it.. the issues faced currently are nothing major that a quick trip to the SVC centre wont resolve.. and any modifications Bajaj does going forward will apply to the older models as well when u take it to the SVC

so long story short.. go for it!

Not sure about the cost, but since the fz hugger is big enough to accomodate a 140 rear section tyre it should be a fit, but i think the rear huger and chain cover of NS are integrated so fixing it might be a little tough, the cbr has 130 rear section right ? Maybe the rear hugger of the cbr would suit better.

Mud splashing on the under part is a given nothing to do about it other than the hugger or should i say wheek cover of the 135LS. Which is an eye sore, beside even though mud slpashes on it , its quite easy to clean then why should that be a problem ?

Also , the bike has done 400+ kms. The gear shifts have become smoother , the engine sounds better , the clutch feels a little lighter & better now...the chain is slack...& the bike doesn't cranks in the first shot without a little twist of the throttle...maybe because its time to change the oil I think...

Nice stickering Dude.... gonna do the same hope u don have copyright on that

                      • Fellow ns owners one query..l. Anyone felt that the power in the 4000-5000 rpm band is reducing as the engine gets heated? I felt the engine getting strained while accelerating in this rpm range. Once it crosses 5000 the it picks up quite fast....

I have done 2500 Kms so far . Felt the engine losing power in the lower rpm bands... Any insights?

Expect it to be there by next year....just a speculation! Even test bikes were seen there so may be early next year.

AFAIK, there is no one here done exhaust modifying.
Know one of mt friend fitted with Uni filter. It sounds better.

                            • DESTINY tuned up

After a boring afternoon, I decided to take my DESTINY for a Sprint.. But since I still have not got the Regn No, so have to restrict our fun in the locality itself. now, after a short ride, decided to do something about the http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/help-me/...r-200ns-2.html problem.
Came back, and read a saved article of tuning the AFR screw from my lappy. Again took DESTINY for a Spirited ride, so as to make her hot. Made her stand with the engine on, and adjusted the idle screw to 1.5k. Now took a screw driver to turn the AFR screw clockwise direction to make it a little richer. And VOILA!!!!!!!!!, Destiny now rolls off with just a slight twist of the throttle.

Thanks to @Rahuldevnath for uploading the picture locating the AFR screw, and also suggesting that the problem could be becoz of AFR being leaner.
Also thanks to @Rahulbarik as he suggested over phone to make just SLIGHTEST turn of the AFR screw.

So friends, if any of u gonna try it,
                              1) make sure the engine is hot.
                              2) For AFR screw - If u take 100 points to be a full screw rotation, the turn just 5/100. (i.e. the slightest turn possible) The screw turns very easily, and u dont have to apply any force. So keep your eyes and ears wide open. Turn Clockwise direction to make the AFR richer.

CAUTION - It is not recommended to fiddle with the AFR screw, untill your bike has scored 10k kms (My DESTINY is just 22kms). Also, guys with no experience of this, better not try this alone. (My 1st time)

                              Another pic of DESTINY's rear

This is good. Now we know, it's not an issue, but just a improperly tuned carb. Im sure all the stalling issues are due to AFR.

Shibadip, because you mentioned about the sound of the exhaust to be "nothing" great in your review, I should also add that a richer mixture, gives the bike a very bassy "boom" sound, and sounds like a muted inline four, as MG had mentioned in his review.
