Hey bro, heard you are coming up with some mods. Came across from previous posts and problem in uploading the photos. I am planning to get my rear number plate holder changed :P I am planning to use the r15 v2 rear number plate holder. Any inputs? I wouldnt be changing anything related to electricals. Will it void warranty

        • That would not void warranty i guess but changing electric fitting would afftect warranty. I am planning to install LED indicators.

mee too was thinking about the mod few days ago then dropped the plan... now since you want to do it, let me know also... And i think, it wont void warranty... Atleast the r15 v2 tail tidy kit will give it a different look... Good or bad i dont know but it will surely make the 135ishp tail look different... any idea how much it costs?

How can the petrol be in reserve and bike runs normally in ON fuel tap position.. ??

The digital meter displays 2 bars of fuel, so is this indicator provided for telling us that bike is going to be in reserve soon ??
Digital Indicator is an "indicator" and simply indicates, it's not calibrated to reserve knob. And the indicator in 200NS is almost 80% accurate

Wanted some info from the "older" Pulsar 200NS owners : Do you get the bike pressure washed from outside? If yes, has anybody experienced radiator fins bending due to high pressure water force? My radiator has some amount of mud lodged into the fins, was just thinking if it's a good idea to get it pressured washed?

                  The regular washes and waxing.
Or at Auto service, Bangalore Mr.Venkat had some 3M car protector or scratch resistant(No Clues what's it called). The other side is its damn expensive Rs. 900 just to cover the area where your knees are rubbing against the tank. By all means, you can get the entire tank plastics replaced at slightly higher price.

Its highly recommended that you do not use pressure wash on the radiator.

                      • i dont get it pressure washed. just go to authorised service centre and ask them to clean it or even you can clean it with some brush.

those are not original teflons... A true teflon can be applied only once and lasts really long... You can see a layer if you look closely and costs much higher... These are temporary polish..just a bit better than normal wax polish...

So according to your opinion should i go for it ??
Thinking whether to go for it or not during first service so.

And by the way when are you getting the bike as said by dealer??

just take it to the svc and ask them to clean it... A full bike wash at the svc costs rs. 50

I feel instead of Teflon coating, you would be better off with UV protection treatment and Anti corrosion treatment from Auto Service. Its Rs. 900 for UV protection treatment which you can use it three times during your service and Rs. 300 for anti corrosion treatment.
