every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

pulsar200ns
considering my 2nd bike which i Have shortlisted the pulsar 200ns and the unicorn. The pulsar has insane looks and technology however the thing bothering me is at the end of the day " ITS A BAJAJ" had a bajaj and after 3 years problems crop up.
So considering either unicorn or 200ns unicorn wont give problems.
would be great with sum suggestions

maintain properly and it will run for years...no matter which company... Even if you have a problem with pulsar, you will always get service backup of a bajaj which isn't the case with honda. They just wash off theis hands after selling the product

Can't really say about Honda but for Yamaha I know the products and their service...basically what I saw till date..Bajaj gets problematic after kinda 20k kms or u can say2-3 years afterwards for the "max" cases where as the bikes from Honda or Yamaha do lasts long....I had my old Yamaha about 8 years without problem....but honestly never seen a bajaj with Bajaj engine lasting that long without any problem....the Kawasaki engined Bajaj's are doing good but not the Bajaj....sole engines,,

I completely disagree....Its just mental thing just get over it..... there's a perception created by people that if its Bajaj it will run out of steam within a few KMs......but the thing is if you maintain your bike it will last for long...Originally posted by Toxicbiker View Postperfectly said....maintainence is the only thing....

Dont agree with you dude. I am using P220 dtsi for around 3 years (30,000 KM), and it is in very good shape. Before that too I had a P150 dtsi (spoke wheel) for almost 6 years before I sold it. It too never gave me an issue. In the entire 6 years I had the bike, I had to use Kick start only once, when the battery died.Originally posted by Toxicbiker View Postperfectly said....maintainence is the only thing....

The thing is if you maintain Pulsars with proper care they are as reliable as the competitors.
Before buying my 1st Pulsar I too was anti-Bajaj. But now, I am looking for upgrades within Bajaj its all because of Pulsar and Bajaj Customer Service which is unmatched.
Before P220, I tried my hands on Karizma R for 6 months, and trust me it was a big disappointment for me.

I had no problem with with my pulsar 180 ug3 for the past 6 years, recently i sold it after 50k + kms on the odo, never ever gave me a problem and even after 50k on it, used to reach 125+ kmph easily, pulsar's of pre ug3 era were not so good but from ug3 onwards bajaj have really really improved. One of my friend has crossed 70k kms on his bike with his stock Bajaj bore, Dont really see any problem with Bajaj if you take care of regular oil changesOriginally posted by Toxicbiker View Postperfectly said....maintainence is the only thing....

Buddy as far as I know it comes as a standard fitment on all the bikes. I have it on mine as well, don't know if bajaj has dropped it from the recent batches or so as you mentioned none of the bikes you checked had it....Originally posted by Red_Redemptioni was just goin thru the pics, and i saw the silver protector on the exhaust of the 200ns.. this wasnt there on the showroom demo model and is not there on my bike as well..
can i get this as an accessory somewhere?
Do ask your dealer about that....

Reserve or Not
Yesterday my reserve indicator started glowing... but my fuel tap position is still ON..

How can the petrol be in reserve and bike runs normally in ON fuel tap position.. ??
The digital meter displays 2 bars of fuel, so is this indicator provided for telling us that bike is going to be in reserve soon ??ATGATT! There are many wonderful riders/drivers out there who would intrude in your riding space without any notice. Be prepared. Stay Safe.
