IMO,You can wait for 5k in the odo to change your tyres.
The Tyres are total crap! Don't wait till 5000kms. If you take it to a dealer right after you get the bike they will give you good price for your old (Actually new) tyres. I got 3000Rs for my tyres and bought Pirelli Sports demon in the back and MRF FX in the front!!! Total extra money put in was 4000 including fitting charge.

Can people also share some experiences about 1st Service and Mileage after the service. I m really concerned about the mileage part.

@CrashOveride2786: What improvements do you see in mileage after change in stock tyres.

        Thanks in Advance..
Frankly speaking I have no idea! I got the tyres changed after 2 hours from my bike delivery! I dont think that there will be much of a difference in milleage! I had Eurogrip on my Old discover and it sucked so got it changed then and there!

may be for spirited cornering, which, i guess, you are not into.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

The cooling system on liquid-cooled bikes circulates a fluid through pipes and passageways in the engine. As this liquid passes through the hot engine it absorbs heat, cooling the engine. After the fluid leaves the engine, it passes through a heat exchanger, or radiator, which transfers the heat from the fluid to the air blowing through the exchanger. this cooling is even across different components.

city roads offer very basic sense of cornering, which is not advised.
hilly areas are good mastering the art of cornering.if you are talking about thrill then it has gotta be tracks.
so for our day to day uses stock tyres are perfectly ok.

i bet you will find some deserted road around your locality to learn those stuffs.

                        • Hi ,

Got my byk on Monday . Feels nice , The Showroom guys made me wait for nearly 2 hours to get the bike delivered . They had charged me Rs 1000 for Teflon coating but i made them refund the amount as it was just some cleaning with wax from a label less bottle . the person who did the final checkups didn't even know how to adjust the rpm as mine was at above 1500 & the rest four bikes at the Showroom on 1500 rpm . Also they gave me the bike with fuel knob at off position which made the bike dead even after filling 7 ltrs at the Pump .
Since i was using P220Fi for the last 5 years i did not felt the p200Ns as responsive as the Fi model , but gradual runs makes is a more stable & mass oriented bike than the other Pulsar models .Mirrors are better but the ommisions that i didn't like were the removal of the feature of the Headlight & park light On with just the ignition on , The omission of the Auto turn Indicators & the Inclusion of only one horn

Just hoping this Pulsar to be better than my other three pulsar models since 2002

                            Whatttt......

here in Delhi the Pirelli Sports Demon rear costs Rs. 3500 and the front Zapper FX from Yamaha FZ costs Rs. 1900. Why are the prices so high at your place....?? Do check them with the other dealers.

And may I ask why didn't you put Sports Demon at the front as well.

rear tyre from r15 v2.0 and front tyre from fz will be equally good and will cost way lesser.. guys, be careful while swapping the tyres .. they might end up damaging your black alloys ...

The revz s costs Rs. 2900 here but the pirelli is better than that, have ridden my friends R15 v2 on Revz S and then on SD after he got it changed at 16k on the ODO and the feedback from SD is better than Revz although not by much.
