Are you sure about the personal loan interest rate??
you can get personal loan in the range of 14 % Some banks have corporate offers through which you can get personal loan at 13.5% too..

One more things, in most of the banks you can repay the outstanding loan amout after 6 months.
Part payment option is available in Axis bank i think.

I guess you need to do more ground work on the personal loan part.

I tried that as well.. a debacle there too.. Personal loans interest loans are as high as 25%.. as they are unsecured loans, nothing in mortgage.. whereas.. two wheeler loan interest comes to around 11-13%.. applied in HDFC.. so fingers crossed..!!

btw, is any dealer offering deliveries without TD.. and demanding for money as soon as possible.. mine is.. complained to Bajaj about this.. (Dealer: KLN Automobiles, Annanagar West, Chennai).

After driving for 3 days covering around 70 Kms, some of things I would like to put out,

4. Just a weird thing i noticed, I couldn't lock my bike when handle bar turned on to right side, it always works only on left side..

5. When the bike is switched off and when I move the bike, some sort of rubbing sound comes at the rear end of the bike,, so should it get checked out?

4. Its the way new Pulsar is designed. It can be locked on the right side. Refer your user manual. Its written there as well.

5. I think its just the brake pads rubbing, a few others are also facing this issue. Wash it or get it checked at the service..

5 --> When u switch off the bike(so as to hear sound clearly), and when you push, some rubbing sound like either chain is rubbing the walls of the chain cover, or tyre rubbing mud flap. This is more pronounced when I use the bike for the first time of the day.

More than one user complaining about this rear "noise"!!

Any one tried washing? After wash is it gone?

Wow ! what an experience on my new byk .. !
Got it yesterday .. engine is very smooth and sitting posture is very comfortable.. just loved it ..
Itzz veryy veryy very difficult to control this in run it period.. i have to tame it below 45kmph at 4 to 5K rpm at least till my first servicing.. because the second you start the byk it engine sounds as if i am ready to run at 100 shall i ??

Coolant was leaking today and got it to show room at kasturiba road at around 10 in the morning .. those guys[at least 4 guys] were struggling to know the reason and i am sure they dont have much knowledge as they were struggling to open the ap and fill the coolant back too.. i had to stay back till evening
to get my byk back .. they dont even have coolant with them .. i had to wait till 4 and bunk my office to get it fixed

@midhun: the bike wont turn of at top gear at 136kph...but the earlier generation(read 180ug4) pulsars does have a safety feature which switches of the engine automatically if you rev the bike too much and hit the rev limiter and keep it pinned to the rev limiter for a few seconds...this only happens for the first 4 gears and not the top gear... Maybe the mechanic tried to refer this only

About TD, the dealer must offer TD, unless they have a Specific TD vehicle.
And since there is rush for the new bike, so the dealer will favour others who will make the full payment at once..

Personal loans are very expensive. The rate actually depends upon the no. of years worked & salary package. When my 2 wheeler loan was rejected stating that I have just been employed & doesn't have "sound" salary package, I took personal loan at 17% interest & bought my darling. Personal loan should be last option, if you are desperate.

are you sure about that personal loan interest rate? Why dont you ask your parents or someone close to lend you the money and you can repay the amount to them... You will save a lot of money bro....
